I'm a US naval officer right now. You're gonna work your ass off alongside some of the biggest pieces of shit you've ever met. Some of them are cool but the assholes outweigh them. Pay is decent and benefits are great. The training will set you up pretty well for the future, but it sucks while you're in.
Number one piece of advice if you do join: don't get anyone pregnant and don't get married.
