Btw all of these are larps, you aren't told why you failed an interview. It would be a huge liability.
PhD in physics
actually if you ask sometimes they tell you why
well just dont give up i guess,
make a website, showcase your shit, what's that great project on github about?
if you had the balls to go through a phd and work through all this crap that came your way then i guess learning a bit of javascript or anything that's fashionable now (golang, kotlin, react, angular, c#/.netcore node.js python) shouldn't be too hard, learn the tools too, host something on google cloud platform / amazon aws / ms azure with continuous integration / delivery, make it use design patterns.
work on your looks, eat healthy, dont drink / do drugs, go to the next interview say you want to have a wife and kids and make it look real because your shirt is ironed, and there's your job.
This actually happens quite frequently. Not everyone is like that but those who steal will steal year round. Best choice is to ask previous students how someone acted. Scammed people will generally happily tell you about it. To late for you but might be relevant for other readers here.
come work with me on super cool ai trading bots. Its just a hobby at this point and I'm not live trading anything yet, but I'm really excited about some of things that are becoming possible in this space. I work on it on and off unfortunately because I'm a software architect and I'm getting cucked and justed right now in terms of free time
>mfw I'm a kinda mediocre programmer without any hobby projects who still has no problem getting a high-salary cushy job as implementing simple functions and teaching boomers how to Git
All you need is to have your CV say "Masters in Engineering"
KEK. stemcucks get what they deserve. If you'd got a degree in humanities you would have known that one of the side effects of capitalism is "deskilling". Ownership doesn't take skill, and in last five years new wealth and income from owning as opposed to doing broke 50%. Thinking that getting ahead meant being honest and working hard, what a lark. You've totally screwed yourself over by believing the lies you were told since you were a baby, OP. Wake up and stop feeling sorry for yourself. STEMcucks are the new Christcucks.
phd only worth it if you learn how to suck cock for academic ladder climbing and get in the circlejerk for grants (OR if you are actually a genius and solve millenium problems, but that's literally less than 0.01% of phd graduates)
academia is to learn how to gently suck off others, it doesn't matter what field you do your doctor of philosophy in
if they ask the same things this thread asked,
say you liked physics but prefer programming, you learned a lot doing physics and believe the scientific method in general helps solve problems and you think you can apply it to this job,
dont make it sound like you're bitter / angry about whatever happened, dont even mention it, that's for 5 months later when you're having a beer with the trusted colleagues and your trial period is done.
yep you fucked up. you weren't supposed to ever mention him taking it. it wouldn't have gotten any recognition anyways if it didn't come out under his name, and wouldn't have been jerked by people he jerked off previously
