wouldn't "Oh i understand you are busy, can I help you so we get this done faster" be better? I understand the part where she doesn't care why it's important for me, but in the second part imho "could you do it as soon as possible" doesn't really change the situation, she can just go "yeah sure" and forget about it, compared to it offering help at least offers new possibility of resolving the situation
