It's weird. in the beginning I was fudding Link to accumulate more. which I did ultimately when it was around 13 cent. I amassed 650K Link. I definately think I have enough to make it. the problem though is that I can't stop fudding my own investment where I am literally all-in with my life savings. I designed some of the most hated and posted memes regarding Chainlink. again... I am all-in with my live savings and I have no intention whatsoeva to shill this project. instead I went to insane lengths to meme fud whenever I can. sometimes I sit a whole day in front of the screen and I FUD FUD FUD FUD. I don't something is wrong with me. but since I have invested in Chainlink I feel verydifferent. my behavior makes absolutely no sense... yet I am 100% sure I have to FUD my own investment.

>"All trade platforms require tight linkages with trusted, fast and secure cross-border payments mechanisms such as going. While DLT-enabled trade is taking off, there is still little appetite for settlement in crypto-currencies and anpressing need for fast and safe settlement in Fiat currencies."
Looks to be that link was beaten to the punch by corda. Oh no no no
Corda is a blockchain not a middleware.
It doesn't provide smart contracts just the ability to transfer currency and could host smart contracts if the right middle ware was applied.
So, this is unironically bullish for LINK?
Lol my Id. Get your ducks in a row.
>middlewear
ẃait. are you telling me there is no product yet? are you kidding me?
Correct.
They're (Corda R3) using XRP and SWIFT for payment finality.
They said there's little demand for crypto (XRP), so they wanted to integrate with fiat (SWIFT).
ChainLink is a middleware for smart contracts.
ELI5: if Corda wants to run their smart contracts based off external events, they can do so with their permissioned oracles.
If they want their R3 contracts (Cordapps) to have functionality with trustless/decentralized systems, they (should) want to use a middleware that shares the trustless nature.
This does not imply that they're actively working with LINK, but the fact that they have pluggable functionality shows that, if they choose to in the future, comparability with ChainLink would be easy (and wise). Particularly if they wanted to work with the core/spinal cord DLT which is what Ethereum is gearing up to become.
Imagine ETH as the spinal cord and all of these (arguably silly) permissioned ledgers working off of it for finality.
The main reason this would happen is that the entities would not have to trust each other.
Walmart wouldn't have to give a fuck about Target controlling the IP because noone does. It's decentralized.
Look at Hyperledger's attempt at their shipping logistics DLT.
Smaller businesses are giving them the finger because they don't want to be locked into a system that a mega corp controls.
Ethereum is the core of the next generation database system.
