>no blockchain
>pretends its a feature
>can't settle payment in a decentralized manner

lol, hope your little botnet app doesn't get blacklisted

kek at this cope. you could easily replicate any blockchain-like concensus model on holochain, if you specify it in the DNA of your hApp. running BTC and ETH on Holo is absolutely no problem. global consensus is really a bug not a feature.

>you can do decntralized currencies as long as it's bottlenecked through our centralized platform

Fucking lol. Unable to understand shoes and unable to understand trustless systems.

it's true. you should be able to decide for each dApp / use-case if global consensus is needed. in 99,99% of all use-cases you can get away with using local consensus and a DHT.

holo.host is optional user. there is no centralized entity - you don't know shit about HOT

>incentivization not to use the erc20 token

Lol, you're telling me that it's more profitable not to use the token?

no i am not, are you retarded? i just said no one is forcing you to use holo.host you can build on holochain without it. does that make sense? you decide... but it is possible. Holo's foundation is only relevant for hosts to get paid in the early days, soon we will see 3rd party exchanges and a thriving decentralized economy around holofuel and HOT. i have seen sick shit that's in the works, i went to their Amsterdam hackathon.

Oh, so my initial assertion was correct, lol.

>NO
>BLOCKCHAIN
>CENTRALIZED
>PAYMENT

How many have you got?

How high do you think its going to go?

That's the based 35M holochad

Only got 7 million
Kill me

Same. This ain't my only bag though.

it really reeks of desperation that the only argument you have is 'muh they have a foundation / reserve'. at some point you will be able to exchange holofuel wherever you want. if we follow your logic, even ETH is a centralized shitcoin that is not truly immutable considering the DAO hack where they just decided to roll back the chain kek.
i think $0.05-0.10 is a very reasonable estimate for the next 2 years. could go way higher though with adoption, long-term $0.50+
you found me, good to see you around fren

I also have 86k Link so I'm rather comfy

any updates on urbit?

>centralized
lol, fucking brainlets actually fall for this fud

Nah not really, they will not have a normie friendly ux for another year or two. Star market has slowed down quite a bit. I think an active star that already spawned 15 planets sold for 15 ETH recently. been reading way more about it recently though. This is one of the deepest rabbit holes in all of crypto. I've also been spending a lot of time following Constellation's github. Thet are gearing up for mainnet sometime Q3. Also working on getting myself a bag of a certain coin that isn't out yet ;)

Indeed. We need to work on access as well.

>Heck, the closest analogue to Urbit right now is probably DNS. If we increase payload size from a few bytes to a few megabytes and then add authentication on top, we would basically have what VJ was talking about in a broadcast system. The biggest problems left then would be the centralized DNS root servers.

I think you know the project that is addressing this. It will work in tandem with Urbit and we will be filthy rich one day.

Thanks for the info and the article, will look into it! I have been hearing a lot more about Urbit (and DAG) lately as well, seems more people are getting interested, probably because of the sale. I have been on Urbit's newsletter for at least 2 years and somehow missed the sale, still looking for a good entry - but don't really want to put more FIAT in before BTC retraces or breaks resistance. Thanks for the reminder regarding that certain coin ;) I am setting up Google Alerts now to not miss it
