Can one of you boomers or gen x’s here explain exactly what the real ramifications of this trade war are? I’m starting to notice trends of people saying this is overreaction vs true fear and that makes me believe a lot of this dumping is due to the fact the bull run ended in 2018 and that we’re still in a bear market
If anything this trade war is a black swan event that’s lead to extreme volatility in the market. Not to mention how there have been good companies beating or meeting expectations but barely given a glance by investors and misses are causing otherwise decent companies to tank to 52 week lows which makes no sense.
What is really going on here? Does a trade war indicate a recession? Or are we already in one? Cause if that’s the case why bother even playing the market in these conditions it’s like walking into a game halfway and someone set it to Brutal difficulty and expect you to win.

Just average into a broad based index, nigga. If you can get within 10% of a bottom, you'll be sitting fine for the next 20 years.

My idea is to make all my money on the way down, and when I get rid of my shorts is when I should be buying the market.

My net worth decreased 10% today. should I just give up?

Please help a nibba out.

Do I get out of crypto altogether? What should I be investing in? I just want enough so I dont have to stress about finances.

>some /rgh/ user had his "artist" girlfriend paint him a picture like that (oil on canvas) after a red day in the markets

ahh, the good old days

Just buy WM the whole way down, and the whole way back up

and add a share of HON if you want extra recessionproof diversity

>or go all in TQQQ calls once we reach the bottom if you want infinite money glitch?

wont be able to be too exact without hindsight, anyone who says otherwise is just speculating

sorry, thats how the game is played
