>Why did I get a fucking "Informatics" degree
What country is that?
Why did I get a fucking "Informatics" degree...
>Informatics
Isn't that just CIS?
Or don't tell me you didn't even learned how to program.
True bro. College isn't worth it unless you're really interested in your major. You'll never get a job over someone who's actually interested in that shit for example programming in their free time etc.
t. fell for the CS meme because I didn't know wtf else to do
>Know one know what they want to do
Absolutely retarded and harmful meme. There absolutely are people who know what they wanna do and are excited about their work. Plenty of my friends are like this.
>willing getting into debt for a piece of worthless paper
wew
I washed out after basic Java. Was struggling with Calculus and C++ at the same time.
Did you at least learned some business topics?
Else, you're fucked and just have a Bachelor's of Science in nothing. You would have to treat that degree as if it was a Liberal Arts degree so google some jobs any 4-year degree will do.
What we learned was shit like A/B testing, data analysis, doing case studies, experiments about apps and shit, biometrics.
So yeah, basically a liberal arts degree that's worthless because I don't know any programming. I guess my only way out is to learn some IT shit and get certified.
Bumping thread for more opinions.
That looks similar to those statistics programs but without the math.
And I asked you if you took some business courses since you could market your degree like a normal business major if you did took those courses.
Either way, I'm pretty sure the only thing you need is to learn how to program at this point, so you could either go for a Master's in IT where they teach you programming from scratch (if this program is available and affordable for you and close to you), or become a self taught a build a rock-solid portfolio by using the skills you learned in that degree.
Since yeah, getting certified is a good idea, but I personally do not know what certs you should do.
