Gods Unchained thread + ref train

Backed by Coinbase, Gods Unchained is pretty much Hearthstone/MtG on the blockchain, where you have true ownership of your cards. Right now you can win Raffle Tokens by winning regular games, which can then be sold for ETH, which means you can make ETH just by playing vidya.

Let's get a ref train started here, to play you need an invit. Here's mine and lets get the train rolling:

Im totally new to card games and I lost 7 games, won only 1.

Is this normal for a beginner and Im just stupid or my enemies bought some shiny genesis card?

You don't need an invite to play the game unlike others seem to claim around here but if you want to help a biz bro out..

Thank you, appreciate it.

Just takes time, try not to always attack the hero but instead get rid of his cards first. Just a little tip.

Depends really, you could have gotten really unlucky with who you've been matched... At the beginner's level, I'd suggest to not overthink your strats and just go for the enemy god's health
Weird, it prompted me for a beta key before I could play...

I just clicked Download & Play then it let me register.

Do you have to deposit anything to start?

Nope, you get free packs at the start and you can get crackin' straight away

GU is cool and all, but seems like a blatant ripoff of Hearthstone without any innovative gameplay. desu i'm more excited for the flowerpatch alpha 25th of august release date than GU

Thanks I will use your key later and try it out. Busy now

Agree, thing is a % of the sold packs/cards go straight back into a prize pool for world championships. Already at $400k now, and that kind of prize money is bound to attract players to the game.

so, like all crypto "games" currently on the market, this is more of a gambling mechanism than an actual game with innovative mechanics :/ imo, the real way the ecosystem can grow is from the latter, not the former. glad y'all are making money though

This game is actually really well done though, maybe nothing new but then again... Remember Valves card game? Yeah.. so much for innovation.

use my invite and kek will bless your topdecks godsunchained.com?beta-key=HkTDwlUaxs

Yea, threw in an ETH on Rare packs and got a couple of good cards... If it turns out the game becomes pretty popular, then I get to win big, if not then it's just an ETH lost so no biggie. I used to be really deep into CSGO skins and made a couple grand off them, so I definitely see the attraction to having these cards on a marketplace where each one of them is owned virtually. All of crypto is gambling in the end anyway heh

let's agree to disagree... i really hope this mentality changes, as I don't see a way forward before it does.

Holy shit, this card is overcosted

I hope this will change but then I look at the Android/iOS games and lose my faith.

Especially the Genesis cards... going to be worth a mint if the game becomes popular.

Thank you for the answers. Im playing since the comment and had 5 wins after 2 lost games.
