this really speaks to me. i work as a technical assistent for a physics professor.
he is extremely intelligent when it comes to anything highly abstract (like mathmatics and quantum physics for example), there are lots of things he says I cant comprehend.
But the issue is, that, just like Stallman, he cant stop talking about politics and he has the typical german liberal (=commie) opinions.
For example once he said we need to think about if people who are against migration should have their human rights revoked, because being against foreigners shows that they arent even human.
Then when we discussed the death penalty once at lunch I said that I am for the death penalty because it would lower the murder rate significantly, because a lot of serial killers (like Breivik) want fame and they dont fear to go to jail, the only thing they fear is death because they cant appreciate their fame in death.
Of course like all liberals he said he is fundamentally against the death penalty - but 3 hours later he said that we should implement the death penalty for "climate change deniers".
This guy is a genius when it comes to math and physics but he is a total brainlet when it comes to anything else. He also calls himself a male feminist and is the biggest wimp when women are around but he has a wife and 3 kids (because he has a shitload of money), so he thinks he can give people advice about how to act around women. Total cringe.
