Isnt swift running their own inhouse nodes? Staking isnt even out yet and gpi link is a finished product so are you suggesting they will migrate to the public ecosystem later on?

Not exactly. An oracle and a node is not the same thing. Chainlink is helping Swift create oracles. Oracles are smart contracts that can execute various data points.
Sometimes they're mistaken to be the same thing because an oracle can be related to the function of a node itself (oracle contract)
