Ford to stop selling every car in North America but the Mustang and Focus Active

> Ford today announced it will phase out most cars it sells in North America. According to its latest financial release, the auto giant “will transition to two vehicles” — the Mustang and an unannounced vehicle, the Focus Active, being the only traditional cars it sells in the region.

Never fear, rednecks, it looks like the SUVs and trucks will continue:

Good. Fords top the worst cars I've owned. Every week another fucking sensor goes out in a hard to reach area. Fuck them and their shitty designs.

Nobody buys sedan type cars anymore. They just buy an SUV like an Explorer. The only people I see driving Ford cars are the cops and those SHO's or whatever.

Eh, maybe. Bad news for the economy though. I imagine most of the US will be underwater and/or glowing soon enough anyhow

You can't stop outsourcing and import dependency.

To bad that trump realized this way to late.

SHO was the only sedan worth attention, although it lacked character and as such was a failure, something like Chevy SS sedan. Fast, but looks like Impala. Same with Ford, SHO is fast, and a decent car overall, but super bland.

Not muh f150

The US economy hasn't been based on manufacturing for decades. Ford could literally disappear over night and the only people that would be complaining are its stock owners and its employees. Sheeeit, a reduction in us manufacturing would hurt Canada and Mexico more than the US.

"In less than two years, Ford will cycle out the Fiesta, Fusion, and Taurus. It will also hocus-pocus the Focus into an "active crossover," ending its run as a traditional compact car."

I mean they sold how many millions of Fusions and they're just cutting them? How can they not have a full size sedan? Are people really that in love with crossovers, SUV's, and Pickups?

Seems foolish when the F150 is still the most bought truck in the USA.
