They capitalized on the war, just like they do today with all their wars. The US is the most aggressive and war mongering country we have ever known.

A union of Europe with a central government is an objectively good and long overdue thing, (btw your fucking island fortress is the #1 reason why this hasn't happened yet), but the eu doesn't have your best interests in mind and never had

I think the EU has served its purpose for us. It saved us from the US. No matter why it was set up and for what purpose it has saved us from US dominance and becoming another US vessel to serve the American empire. I really feel for Europe, and I really hate it when we hate each other when it's us against the world. We are the true last stand against immigration, not the US. We are what white people are.
I know we never joined the Euro but that wasn't a bad idea. And how could we ever join a central European government when we still have influence from a monarchy.
