Nursing Homes

So much this. When I reach that point in life, I’m taking a bus ride out into the middle of a desert and I’m gonna walk off into the distance until my body gives out and I’ll just let the critters have what’s left of me. I will refuse to be a burden on my kids and grandkids when I become an old coot.

There's less food for the residents.

I worked as a CNA at a Nursing home. It was the most depressing job I've had so far.

unironically yes, they did the same for you for years. you should have a stay at home wife as well, she does all the lifting.

Unless science comes through soon...these shells are gonna break on us. When that time comes hopefully we are ready.

These places are so sad.

Also, if you think about it, a lot of these people end up in them because they were so fuckin shitty to their children that no one wanted to take care of them when they got old.

Honestly at that point just kill her. We need to inact the Logan's Run Act and when people get old and start getting to that point off they go. The thought of ending up an Alzheimer's and dementia riddled mess who makes everyone around me miserable and who can barely even dress themselves both scares and disgusts me and when it happens I hope someone has the sense to blow my brains out.

My mom cares for my grandma, my uncle (her brother) Doesn't give a shit about his mom at all, he even wanted to kick grandma out of her home so he could give the house to one of his daughters that live off welfare, he even threatened with taking my mom and my grandma to court over it. If it weren't because my mom/dad and my bro and I are around he would have sent her to a home and forgotten about her ages ago.

you could also feed yourself to a python

Like when I get old treat me like you would someone infected by a zombie bite. Keep an eye on me and when I've started to turn shotgun me in the face. Don't allow me to become a monster.
