Atheism is not a "lack of belief". You have a whole series of beliefs including creation, fate of the universe, nature of humans, what are purpose is, etc.

Atheists only share the same belief when it comes to creation and the fate of the universe. Those are scientific beliefs that theists share too. Atheists disagree on the other two, so there's no shared atheist belief on those topics.
Depending on the definition of atheism, you could have an atheist that believes in flat earth too. That would have a different creation story.

Atheism is defined as lack of belief in god, not as set of beliefs that include lackmof belief in god. Beliefs people have as addition to lack of belief to god are not part of atheismnrather their own personal beliefs. Same as your belief that slavery should be outlowed its not in bible yet u still have a belief in addition
