Why is the savior of mankind a jew? Was he meant to only be the savior of the jews, or was this brand of salvation supposed to also extend to the gentiles?
I’d like some serious insight on the topic. Apologists and or those who dabble in theology up to the front, please...
I love how everyone baits the "jesus was a jew" thing like a fool.
He flipped tables and whipped dudes running hustles in the temple.
He extended the whole of salvation that jews professed was only for them, to the world.
He called them out on their self serving ways and they had him executed because he preached for peace and unity.

Thanks for the response.
Not sure how true or rather accurate this is, but i’ve read that it wasn’t jesus but rather his apostles (e.g., paul, etc) that extended this form of salvation to the gentiles.

>Why is the savior of mankind a jew?
Because the Jews were entrusted with the promise of Abraham, which was fulfilled in the person of Jesus Christ.
>Was he meant to only be the savior of the jews, or was this brand of salvation supposed to also extend to the gentiles?
His salvation is universal to all of mankind because the efficacy of his infinitely meritorious sacrifice doesn't magically stop at certain ethnic or geographic boundaries. 20Now there were some Greeks among those who went up to worship at the feast.
21They came to Philip, who was from Bethsaida in Galilee, and requested of him, “Sir, we want to see Jesus.”
22Philip relayed this appeal to Andrew, and both of them went and told Jesus
23But Jesus replied, “The hour has come for the Son of Man to be glorified.
24Truly, truly, I tell you, unless a kernel of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains only a seed; but if it dies, it bears much fruit.

>Why is the savior of mankind a jew? A misunderstanding.
You need to understand what a "Jew" is, and what Israelites are, and understand who Lord Jesus is.
Lord Jesus is the king of all Israel, which consists of 12 tribes, and "Jews" were made up of 2.5 of the tribes because they were the ones who stayed in Judea while the other tribes went North in to exile and separated in to the Northern Kingdom.
The people who call themselves "Jews" now just reject God anyway, so not only are they anti-Christs, they probably aren't even real Israelites.
Inb4 "antisemite".
Calling Lord Jesus a Jew is like giving someone the lowest title that they deserve. If you want to use a title, why not God the Son or Word of God?

If I call other white people out for doing dumb things, does that mean I'm not white anymore?

Where you see "jews" in the bible, which is an on purpose mistranslation, change it to Israelites. Israelites. Not Israelis.
