All this "you should never get advice from internet strangers" thing is ridiculous. Look, you should never take peoples words as gospel. And that goes for anyone, not only internet strangers. I don't care if you're talking to a fat neckbearded NEET or the Dalai Lama, consider their words and make your own decisions. Use your brain and fucking think.

People seem to be really missing what the value of this board is. It's not that you'll find somebody that will tell you how to solve your problems. It's that you get to talk to them and hear other peoples opinions on them. It can help you organize your thoughts, can offer you a new perspective, maybe some idea you never considered before. But at the end of the day it's still you who have to think through it and make the decisions.

And frankly I've seen some pretty good advice and interesting opinions around here. Sure, it's nowhere near as much as there is shitposting and thoughtless replies, but it's there. Stop with this pessimistic mindless shit. It's not doing you or anyone else any favors.
