Is it "cool" to never smile and laugh?
Is it "cool" to never smile and laugh?
No
Jesus Christ, no. Think about the cool kids at your highschool. Who among them never smile and laugh?
Only if you balance it with being good in literally everything else, quality wise. (e. G. Intelligence, abilities, social intelligence, looks, body, tastes, personality etc)
Otherwise NO
But what if you counter it with sarcastic humour?
Anime cool characters =/= real life coolness
Sarcastic humor and roasting are the only kinds of humor that are considered great on paper but despised in reality
if you are attractive yes
if you arent, then no you look creepy and scary
Smiling is an act of submission and laughing less will make more people want to try harder to make me laugh for approval which gives me power does it not?
Only if you're already in position of power(status, money or lookswise)
This can be said for literally anything though
Even anime cool characters have dumb moments which makes them smile.
high skool
This is up there as the most autistic thing I've read all day.
Being so concerned about "acts of submission" and "power" is a disability in its own right.
It's all about power and it always will be about power. Nothing else matters.
>autism
It’s not cool
Not really. Most people strive to be happy, and won't understand why you won't laugh or smile at their pathetic humor, or why you don't get excited about the mundane things that they care about.
You will just come across as a jerk to them. They will constantly be asking you what's wrong with you because they live vapid lives expressing their inane surface thoughts constantly with no filter. I wouldn't worry to much though, because by the time you are unable to smile or laugh anymore, you have transcended the petty contrivances of society, and are already forging your own path. In other words, it's too late, and you can never go back.
Some next level virginity you're spouting. Laughter and smiling isn't only for you to approve other people but it also adds to the harmony of social situations. You're telling the person, quite literally, that you enjoy their company and you also mean no threat to them as well.
Smile and laugh, OP. One of the best ways to network and actually make and keep friends.
But I'm not a virgin. I'm certainly older and more experienced than you user.
I'm just sharing my observations.
I don't know how you assumed you're older than me just by saying you're more moody than me.
>has the mind and social grace of a 17 year old
>claims to be older and more experienced than someone
Nice.
lol whatever bud. Theory is not always the same as practice. Again, observations.
I laugh when I want to cry. Heh, you must think I'm so uncool right now...
go outside Vergil
It is. I think you already got the general consensus in this thread, but that doesn't mean that some people won't find you cool for being stoic. I know I do, and always did ever since I was a child.
Rest in power
it's all about power
squeeze two lemons together and all you'll really have is sour
