Here's some advice I learned in a Jordan Peterson video—roast me all you want, but it's good, practical advice and I've benefited from it multiple times.

Analyze your personality traits and flaws, then do something that's the *opposite* of your normal tendencies. So for example, if you're low in conscientiousness/unorganized, take an hour and clean your room (this is where you can tell it's Peterson advice lol, but this shit works). Or, if you're normally very extroverted and always have people around, take a day just to spend by yourself; likewise, if you're introverted, go to a party or even like a park or something with lots of people around.

Forcing yourself out of your normal habits is not only good for building character, it'll snap you out of a funk like nothing else.
