This is also bullshit. Women don't hit menopause at 40 on the nose by any measure. In fact, having children late can delay the onset of menopause. My mother had my youngest brother at 44. Kid's a fucking genius, way healthier than I ever was (I was born when she was 25).

The birth defects are. The chance of miscarriage isnt, miscarriage is already pretty common even in perfectly health women. The difficulty to conceive isnt, it can take years longer for women past 25 to conceive then women under 25.

Come on man. Theres even a lady who had kids at 66, should we base what general life choices we make off of her very unique experience? How old are you? Anyone past their twenties can attest that unless they were unhealthy before, your energy goes way down.

The fact that the older a women is, the greater the chance of child defect is true though, although it is not guaranteed. I think that there were exponential increases to the risk of down syndrome at some point, as she gets older. Also, not to seem insensitive, but there are a lot more actual retards in the world these days, and people tend to settle down and have kids later in recent times (working on their careers first) than in the past

I should have explained better, I never dated a woman over 22. I wouldn't date older because I want several kids (and yeah, birth defects etc), but I'll settle for knocking up an older woman and co-parenting or something like that. My father had 3 marriages and so I know this lifestyle.
