Why can't you write your own resume? Your parents should be able to help you. Also, there are plenty of helpful guides online.
Obviously not
There are places that do it for free
No. Go on indeed and make a resume then download it.
No, unless you are an absolute brainlet or have a lot of expendable cash. You're better off writing one then posting it here or at a relevant board (sci, biz, his, etc) depending on your field
Take the criticism and edit accordingly
lol no
Just go to your local employment agency and ask for help, or attend one of their free resume classes
>Why can't you write your own resume?
I did three years later couldn't get a different job
Something has to change
>local employment agency a
Are you talking about a staffing company?
>do it for free
You get what you pay for user
It's whats on your resume thats gets you the job, not the resume itself.
I'm told by everyone that an EE degree gets you a decent job,
So what else could it be?
>EE
>no job straight outta college
You dun goofed
Go back to your uni, they usually have services for alumni
If not I suggest a public library, most have professors and educated people with nothing to do who'd gladly help you
I am in grad school now though
Uni career center was useless
Meant for
No. Assuming you have experience, just look up examples and make one of your own.
>Are you talking about a staffing company?
No, absolutely not
I'm talking about the employment agency, that's paid for by the government. It exists in absolutely every single city in the western world. How the fuck do you not know this
For example, California:

Now take the training wheels off your bicycle and start peddling on your own.
The "training wheels" where never on
I've tried doing this on my own for three years
Done this and they where literally no help. I don't blame them tho, they are used to writing rudimentary ones for supermarket workers, not lawyer ones(I have a law degree)
Maybe you should sue them
Isnt that shit for the unemployed?
europass.cedefop.europa.eu
just use this, it should be free even though your not from the EU
The government will help you for free dude.
Also look into a functional resume. When I started using those instead of chronological I started getting a fuck tonne more call backs.
Nah, I just told them straight that they couldn't help me as they insisted I come in so often. Besides I can't sue anyone, I only have a law degree, I'm not a member of my states law institute yet.
What field?
What job are you looking for?
What is your experience?
How much do you get paid? How much *would* you get paid?
>I have a law degree
And you don’t know how to write (or even research how to write) a resume?
I could but lazy + subconsciously I don't want to find work.
Then die already. Fucking idiot.
Why waste our time?
Brutal response
If you're applying for jobs that have $75,000 starting salary, then yes
If it's $25,000 then no
If you don't want to use a resume writing service, I suggest looking around LinkedIn to find a few good resume examples. Combine those with a few guides and you'll be able to write a better resume. Then ask a few people whose opinions you value to look it over.
