Do you not know how reddit works? You choose your own boards. I don't even know what the default subreddits are anymore, but you should unsubscribe from literally all of them if you want a pleasant experience.

You really have to look through all the subreddits to find the ones that have an active population but also are relatively small enough and obvious are a topic that you're interested in,

r/gaming is really bad too, like the top posts are like "hey look at what we got for Christmas! :)" and then it's a picture of a fucked up retard kid stuck in a wheelchair with like 7 oxygen tanks but also he has a Nintendo Switch on his lap so that gets a million upvotes and 15 times Reddit Gold on r/gaming. Redditors love to exploit their crippled retard kids for aimaginary internet points.

but like I said, that's the default subs. If you want to talk games you can find entire boards dedicated to just one game. it's like that for anything.

Discord has millions of servers by now, I'm sure you can find something if you look some up through The Portal or similar discord advertising sites/servers.

Also, the problem is you and not Jow Forums. If you cannot separate what you say/do online from how you think/interact irl that just means that you're not only missing the point of the annonimaty of the internet as a whole but as well as the point of the culture surrounding Jow Forums. If you can not establish separate personas depending on where or with whom you're interacting then you're just being tone deaf, and in my opinion, ultimately more disingenuous towards yourself and others.
I am not just who I am when I talk with strangers and acquaintances, I am a combination of personas which might sometimes seem to act antithetically towards each other whilst all remaing in accordance with my own set of values.
If you can't operate under these rules and unironically let things you don't believe in affect your actions then you don't believe in your own values that much to begin with.
