To keep this political for the j*nnies, ITT we discuss the obstacles in our laws which prevent us from realising our dreams and what we can do about that.

I believe the biggest issue in realistic/ affordable homes is the fact non-citizens and internationals can purchase homes in our countries. So instead of competing against the locals to purchase a home (low competition, low price), we are competing against potentially 7 billion people to purchase our local home (extremely high competition, extremely high price).
There's a reason the average home price in Australia jumped from $30k (1976) to the current $625k (2018).
And if you live in the hellhole Melbourne, the average home price is $914k (2018).

Feel free to expand on this.

The only obstacles are the laws of physics make it hard to put a lot of stuff in space, but it can be solved with electrical maglev like Startram and ssto vehicle like Skylon. It's completely doable, and will take even less money from american budget (percentage wise) than Apollo program. Feel free to debunk it.

I'm moving to Germany soon, and I've found plenty of cheap housing (that need little to no work) in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, which also happens to be one of the whiter areas in Germany.
Plenty of comfy small towns and nice old homes too.

I inherited 600 acres of cattle land that has been in my family since the revolutionary war, located in PA. We have a 100 year old farm house where my parents are living (retired) and while I am happy to retire there some day, I would like to build my own place. I work in I.T. and I'm budgeting to live under my means so that I can have a sizable savings.
My desire is to build a house large enough to fit myself, several close friends, and some extended family. (To compare, the farm house is approx. 6000 SQF and 6 bedrooms.) I'm looking at doing a vanity project for myself, but I also want to satisfy being able to house a large number of people comfortably without too much overlap.
I'm leaning towards an actual castle style (pic related). I know that building a home is cheaper than buying it (especially already owning the land) but beyond that, I have very little to go on. Any more experienced Jow Forumsacks have constructive input?

I've been thinking about this. I actually own a homestead farm and 20 acres in upstate NY, school and property taxes are about 5-6K a year
It's really just a bunch of animals my asshole father got before he died and left me and my lazy zoomer brother the house, mini horses are expensive, geese shit everywhere, guineas are loud, we had peacocks but a bear ate them...

Anyway, I want a naturhaus, a variant of the earthship. Basically, I want the south side of my house to be a huge greehouse. We had lots of animals when I was a kid, and I got to run it again as an adult, so I have a good amount of experience with meat, not so much veg and fruit farming, but I've done some very interesting scale experiments with windowsill pumpless hydoponics using the Kratkey air gap method, I've grown Walmart grapes and blueberries in my bedroom in plastic storage containers full of nutrient water. I have a 7 kW solar array, and I'm interested in Subaru's new plug in hybrid electric car. Basically, I wanted internet and taxes to be my only bills, I got a wood stove installed, and if I had a good modern greenhouse and barn I could easily grow all my own food.

I've also been studying the stock market and finance. I've seen people grow accounts from $500 or a few thousand to a million in a few years, it's really hard but it can be done. No one ever got rich from labor or service, its speculation and investing.
If I had a few million, I would modify my house into a naturhaus, complete with

I'm familiar with German taxes but I figure it's not that crazy compared to the US. Paying for a home like that will come to around 180 EUR/month for a loan plus around ~1500 property taxes amounting to 330EUR/month on the property.

Average rent in my area at the moment is 1300/month for 2 beds and wages are low. Another thing I've noticed in Germany is that food is cheaper, I don't have to pay a shit ton of money out-of-pocket for health expenses, and if I were to have kids I would get Kindergeld.

Even if half my paycheck is forfeit, I would still have more money at the end of the day.

Essentially, anybody that built a home in the West on a piece of land and lived on the property for 3 or 5 years (I don't remember the length) can claim a right to the land/property. There were some contingencies, of course. But more or less it was "free" land for anybody with a will.

The aha moment I had was realizing it's foolish to think you can live in more space than it takes to grow your own food, and your animals food.

youtube.com/watch?v=HNTBr8r1ltQ
This guy is weird but his "organic hydroponic" "fishless aquaponic" bioponic system is quite interesting, growing fodder, duckweed, and crayfish and catfish, I would use the Australian red claw crayfish because its pretty and it grows up to a foot in a year, the hybrid blue catfish can grow from a 6 inch fry to a 5 pounder in a year, also duckweed is a superfood itself and can double every 48 hours.
With a composter generating heat and a biogas digester making methane there would be almost no waste
In the summer raise 50 to 100 chickens and a few pigs, get some pygmy goats for weed control and milk and I'm set.

Also, 1% of one million is 10000 so if you had 1.2 mil in a trust account getting 1% interest per year, that would be $1000/month income. It's possible to day trade in a Roth IRA if you do some shit with your 401K, but I don't trust the government fuck social security, fuck benfits basic income allthat communist shit. I want to invest, trade stocks, make money, and in a decade or two retire to tend my farm

Just keep in mind their directionality so that they do not become security threats for the occupants. For an example, if you have a hidden exit, it should be designed that the passageway is inherently one-way. Also the door/hatch whatever should be close enough to the rooms so that intruder's can't safely make noise trying to break it from the outside without anyone in the castle noticing.

You should definitely consult a pro on this - not for the exact plans necessarily, but the risks and mitigations involved. Half of the top Jews in America probably have used their services too.

That's so true immigrants and off shore investors have ruined this country. Which is why we need to VOTE 1 FRASER ANNING!! He's the only person that has the countries best interest at heart.

I lived in Brisbane. Which is a pretty stable housing market admittedly probably because the not as much gook money as melb or Syd. I saw potential in the housing market and the massive boom in Brisbane so I flipped a house, did 95% of the renovation myself, made a huge profit and bought 220 acres in the mountains behind the sunnycoast. And the best part is I have little to no debt. The property needs heaps of work the house is in pretty good condition tho. So the plan from here is to flip the house and 220 acres (fencing, cattle yards, dams, troughs, roads, clearing, ect). Even if I don't want to make the money I'm so happy being out of the city. About a mile of my back boundry is national park and its the last property on the road so it's peaceful which is what I like. So I guess I already have my dream property. BUT I'm hungry. And I want 1000s of acres and want to move way out to isolate myself and my family from a growing evil world.

So basically dreams are achieved with hard work and brains. You MUST be willing to work hard and think about everything with your next step. My best advise is when you get home from work do something to improve your life. Something that before you go to bed you feel like you have achieved something. And don't be happy to sit on your arse get up and get busy and save your money. I'm 30 and if I can do it we all can.

What IS wrong with this is that there is too much road and too much mowed grass. Holy shit I think you're onto something, my post here
Is only concerned with having children and being comfy, but in order to establish a dynasty and a bloodline that is powerful I would need something akin to a castle wouldn't I.

Gonna need a lot more fucking money to do that though. I like the idea of farm houses and extra rooms so that I can't have staff and friends/family living with me if SHTF.

I wouldn't mind having a castle at the top of a hill with a village like this at the foot of the hill so that a small community could form and naturally grow into a town and then a city, and then hopefully something even larger.

I'd like for my bloodline to go about restoring the British Empire to it's former glory as I believe the English truly have been the most prolific and awesome of all people's to have existed thus far, and fail that (if the Empire were to totally collapse and the UK destroy itself) at the very least restore Canada to a nation state and bring my family name into a position of relative power.

Oh okay, that's a little bit better.
It's tough though and you really wouldn't get it without MAJOR renovation sinking money needlessly into this endeavor. And you would need to make sure the old home can be renovated without tearing down vital foundation.

And that kind of open planning is terrible unless you live in a really temperate zone, because they BARELY hold any cool/warm air. If you're sensitive to the weather, then you'll be looking at exceedingly high electricity bills because they need to be CONSTANTLY working so that the rooms are constantly cooled/heated.

Homes with smaller compartments and door divisions are VERY efficient at this; they were built this way for a reason.

Germany has SUPER cheap comfy areas in cities, city outskirts, AND country.
You really can't lose over there.

I feel like the options are terrible over here and that if I don't want to pay an arm and a leg, I would have to live in the ugliest fucking Jew copy+paste construction in some city outskirt that's not quite inner-city nor is it rural, travel and hour into a city for work daily and get the best of NO worlds (city or rural life). Realistically though this won't happen so instead I want to move to Tasmania and buy a piece of land there with the same sort of thing. Though I don't think it'll ever be as pretty.

Why would you move to the states when there is tons of land in Australia even more suitable for settling down on.

Anything Cfb (Oceanic) in light green would be perfect and is the climate type similar to what the English live in and other West/North Sea Germanics live in.

Mind screenshotting a map of Anchorage and circling the nigger zones for me?

This is what I liked about Fairbanks but avoided the idea of it because of all the crime I've been hearing

i couldn't give you a good anchorage crime map, i don't live there anymore but i can 100% tell you to remember the name "mountain view" and stay the fuck away from it.
two more ways to remember is to avoid anything around the northway mall, and dimond center mall.
not sure what you're reading about fairbanks and crime but everything seems the same as it's always been here.
most of the crime stats here are just natives fucking with other natives and other poor/drug people.
you can go about your business 24/7 just about anywhere in town and be fine.
on the other hand, you absolutely not do that in anchorage.
the only time i've been stole from was a medium tier neighborhood in anchorage. bikes, dogs, i was almost kidnapped as a kid there.
it's way more fucked up than fairbanks.

Good to know, I always liked the idea of living comfy indoors during blizzards, enjoying the snow on a nice day in winter and enjoying the sun on a sunny day in summer.

Still probably going to head to Anchorage initially but from there I'll go out and explore other potential spots. Guess I'll check out Fairbanks afterall, thanks for the tip.

Any other tips are appreciated.

Tasmania is an ideal spot climate wise, I hear it's cheap too because of it's local population.

Look at this map Apparently nearly all of Tasmania (Except for what I assume are mountains deeper inland) is Cfb, the same climate type as England, except a little warmer.

probably but it wouldn't be worth life in prison for it, they're mostly harmless to white people, just annoying when they stumble around drunk.

fairbanks is an arctic desert basically so lots of sun, harsh weather extremes.
anchorage and south is more like washington state, more cloudy and weak rain.
if i could live anywhere in the state it would be these places
1. homer
2. kenai/soldotna
3.valdez
4.seward
5.fairbanks
6.wasilla/eagle river (anchorage suburb)
7.juneau

I'm glad you're willing to do that, but with the amount of children I'd like to have (at least 10), I'd want someone who is trained and educated to give my kids a proper education.

I wouldn't have them schooled until they were about 8 or 9 however, with the boys and girls educated in separate specializations of course. Basic arithmetic and reading would be done my myself and the wife of course.

Tassie is kind of like New Zealand, scenery wise, except maybe not quite as nice.
It's the cheapest state in Aus currently. Part of the reason I want to move there. I can buy a nice 3 bedroom house on an acre for about 300k whereas here in the sydney area you'd get a shitty apartment in muslim areas for that price.

nah the natives here do the same shit as indians in the other states, mostly just drunk shit, every once in a while something worse but meh.
as far as minorities go they're pretty good, almost feel sorry for them because they seem like they can't cope in a modern world so spend their time just drinking themselves to oblivion.

Cattle are surprisingly easy to raise and don't require a lot of labor, which means the majority of the time can be spend developing the land and cultivating things like maple syrup, apiaries, and fuel-wood (look into Black Locust wood, it's practically a weed around here).

As for leaving a legacy, you don't actually need a castle, that's just vanity on my part. But a good stable house built to accommodate a large amount of people without too much overlap, and built in such a way as to facilitate expansion is best.
Power comes with land and influence, you can start building your legacy now as long as you lay the foundation and raise your kids to understand the long term ramifications.
The last people in my family who tried to sell any part of our land were distant cousins were ultimately bought out by the family and went on to live in a city with nothing; no legacy, children who fled, no passive income, and nowhere to retire.
Buy land, buy as much land as you can get your hands on. Then develop it into something. Anything. If you're smart, get land you can grow things on, if not, get land you can build things on.

I hear they require quite a bit of land if you're not raising them for meat but are dairy cattle they do take up quite a bit of your time compared to goats for the same purpose.

I like your post in general but I think I'd go with something like goats and sheep instead.

you don't actually need a castle
It does help because it will last a lot longer than a regular house and is very cost efficient to get rid of compared to a house, almost guaranteeing it will be around for at least 2-3 generations.

Buy land, buy as much land as you can get your hands on.
The end goal if we're talking pipedreams would to own all of the land, in the form of being the crown.

Dairy cattle are a hassle and not nearly as lucrative, we only do Beef for that reason. Easier to trade for milk and have a few more head. The amount of land needed is a lot less than you'd think, especially if you're aware of the need to rotate pasture and plant feed crops wisely. Agriculture takes way, way more land for far less product, just for comparison.

It does help because it will last a lot longer than a regular house and is very cost efficient to get rid of compared to a house, almost guaranteeing it will be around for at least 2-3 generations.
Stupid children will sell a $10m castle for $500k and think themselves better for being rid of it. You can't really design for future proofing retardation. Better to raise them with the earth under their nails and a sense of where food comes from, and where family survives.

The end goal if we're talking pipedreams would to own all of the land, in the form of being the crown.
You've got to start somewhere. You cant be king. Sorry user, but that's outside of your reach. However your children might be, if you prepare the way for them.
