Post your dream home and state: >dream location >how many children
I'll start with my dream home pic related >Alaska >12
To keep this political for the j*nnies, ITT we discuss the obstacles in our laws which prevent us from realising our dreams and what we can do about that.
I believe the biggest issue in realistic/ affordable homes is the fact non-citizens and internationals can purchase homes in our countries. So instead of competing against the locals to purchase a home (low competition, low price), we are competing against potentially 7 billion people to purchase our local home (extremely high competition, extremely high price). There's a reason the average home price in Australia jumped from $30k (1976) to the current $625k (2018). And if you live in the hellhole Melbourne, the average home price is $914k (2018).
simplistic design makes for a quick/ efficient build. Also very efficient on space. Plus looks so aesthetic and comfy >would be more at home in New England agreed but I'd much rather live in Alaska

>O'Neil cylinder >fifth Lagrangian Libration point >20 The only obstacles are the laws of physics make it hard to put a lot of stuff in space, but it can be solved with electrical maglev like Startram and ssto vehicle like Skylon. It's completely doable, and will take even less money from american budget (percentage wise) than Apollo program. Feel free to debunk it.
>Three kids That's it? That's two to replace you and your partner and only one more as a contingency? STEP UP YOUR GAME, CUNT. THE WEST NEEDS YOUR KIN (if you're white, of course).
I'm a southerner. I can't help it. I'd love to kick back on a warm autumn evening on my second story balcony with a glass of sweet tea and watch the deer at the tree line.

Looks like commie hell, Chaim. Modernist bastardization. This looks comfy though, is this really (some outskirt of) Tokyo as labeled on the image?
Dreams of a Faustian civilization which is about to hit the wall. Nothing in physics prevents it but I fear the world is going to collapse in one disaster or another soon enough. It may happen at some point in the future but only after things have reorganized and technological progress is partnered with Traditional hierarchical forms.
Would be a comfy holiday cabin but that is no place to raise a family

Nigga, look at them awkward-ass, blue-cloth-ass chairs just placed randomly against the wall. What was Don thinking? "I don't think I've got enough fuckin seats in this apartment, maybe throw some chairs into some random places and call it a day"
>state Indiana >dream location >implying anywhere in Indiana stands out other than crime rates near Chicago As long as I have an acre to keep noise away, I'll be happy. But I would like a large living room/dining room and a greenhouse in the back. Sadly, I'll probably be stuck in a .25 acre house from the 60s that constantly requires attention with less than twenty feet between me and the houses on either side.

No running water. Take shits in the creek.
Lol I'd rather spend 25k and live in a cimmieblock apartment somewhere in eastern Europe than own one of those cucksheds.

Are we saying get rid of the trailers, tidy up the lawn, hop in the Taurus, and drive it off a cliff?

they had many parties there, probably left from that
a glass house within a bug net box within the amazon.... Although I am neither an architect (homosexual) or engineer...my home was featured in an international magazine.
I fucking beat (((architects))) and was featured in a European Magazine

>cuckshed lmao. haven't heard that in a while. I used to tell people to fuck off to the cuckshed at my old job. this one is comfy. very James Bond looking.
Nope. It's still a cabin with no water and electricity. Good for camping maybe.

I count at least 12 chairs plus a big ass couch

Old Victorian house with nooks and crannies and tons of personality Library and fireplace Located in a small, walkable yet hilly Northeastern/Midwestern American town with higher than average density 3 kids and a couple cats
I'm moving to Germany soon, and I've found plenty of cheap housing (that need little to no work) in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, which also happens to be one of the whiter areas in Germany. Plenty of comfy small towns and nice old homes too.
Would rather jump over to Austria, but homes seem to be too expensive there.
I inherited 600 acres of cattle land that has been in my family since the revolutionary war, located in PA. We have a 100 year old farm house where my parents are living (retired) and while I am happy to retire there some day, I would like to build my own place. I work in I.T. and I'm budgeting to live under my means so that I can have a sizable savings. My desire is to build a house large enough to fit myself, several close friends, and some extended family. (To compare, the farm house is approx. 6000 SQF and 6 bedrooms.) I'm looking at doing a vanity project for myself, but I also want to satisfy being able to house a large number of people comfortably without too much overlap. I'm leaning towards an actual castle style (pic related). I know that building a home is cheaper than buying it (especially already owning the land) but beyond that, I have very little to go on. Any more experienced Jow Forumsacks have constructive input?
I'd have a balcony and porch on the rear face. So I wouldn't ruin the style/ look of the house and still have that comfy outdoor space
>but it'll be facing the back of the house Doesn't matter where your balcony and porch face when the entire house is in the middle of a large plot of land

That much space for three kids? Really? At least pump out an army if you want to have such an extravagantly large home.

why do modern homes have such few windows? new homes never have windows on the sides
