Why does everyone lie about this? The problem isn't gender roles. women would be happier being like this, the problem is thinking the woman is INFERIOR because of her role. telling the woman to go to work and try to compete with men is stupid and goes against nature. this is why you get all these women complaining about how they are 37 and making 150k a year and still single. well, its because men don't give a shit about how much a female makes because that's not what they're suppose to do anyway. you know they aren't suppose to be the bread winner because if they were meant to be the breadwinner men would be designed to select women based on their resources.
Women aren't selected based on how many resources they have, they are selected on their beauty and youth. their beauty and their youth. that's right, that means ALL YOU HAD TO DO WAS JUST THROW A MAKE UP AND DRESS ON AND YOU"RE GAURANTEED A SPOT IN THE GENE POOL. why do people make this fucking complicated?
in fact a women trying to get a degree is almost a complete waste of time. you would be better off just spending your college years finding a rich 35 year old if you're 21. if a woman has the power to find a rich man like that then why bother working or going to college?

Men and women are different. This is a fact. Exceptions to all rules exist and occasionally you'll have extremely feminine men, and extremely masculine women. It does not mean the rule/fact is invalid. Men are not superior due, and women are not inferior, but they are indeed different, mentally, physically, etc. Its a shame people are starting to deny this when equality can be sought out while still acknowledging our differences.
Though part of this feels like a bait thread or a vent thread, so I guess let it out, or hit up that GIOYC thread?

i just wish people would be honest about the dating world. if men were meant to be nurturing and stay at home women would select them based on those traits, but women are hypergamists which means men are the ones that are suppose to do work. they dont HAVE to but it would be to men and women's advantages to RESPECT eachother's roles, NOT CHANGE or deam one inferior or superior to the other.
it doesn't matter how much money i make, a guy will never like me as much as an 18 year old who lives at home with her parents and smokes weed all day. its because that is not her role. roles are beautiful things if respected and done correctly.

Remove the weed aspect and you'd probably be *slightly* more accurate, but I might be biased because I hate weed. That said, while many men wouldn't like having their woman make more than them, its even more prevalent that women dislike it when THEY make more than their man. Many go so far as to say they won't date a man who makes less than they do. Men will always be physically attracted to a sexy young body, but that doesn't necessarily mean they prefer that person over the person that you are, user.
Really though, I'm not quite sure what we are arguing here, and I'm just procrastinating on something very important that I feel like I'm going to let slip by me, yet another day. But theres my GIOYC moment for the night.

Women and men are different, on average. Individuals are not average. You say that "women would be happier" being housewives, but some wouldn't. My mother or one of my closest friends, for example, wouldn't. They're not only able to compete, but better at competing at their job than their peers and obviously my father liked her enough to have 3 kids with her. Men are different and select women differently. I'm much uglier than many of the girls who my fiance had access to, and older than them, yet we're engaged. And he was the first one to insist I finish my degree, despite I had a chance to be a stay at home mother.
