There was this guy on death row that requested to be executed via nitrogen asphyxiation instead of lethal injection.
1. Supreme court low IQ justices couldn't understand fucking anything about it. Even though several states had already approved the method, it hadn't been used yet so they said "nah, you have to do it the objectively worse way". Don't really give a shit about the guy, but nitrogen asphyxiation is way cheaper, reliable, fast, and painless. Literally strap a mask on them, attach it to a tank of nitrogen, and they're unconscious in under a minute and dead within 20 guaranteed.
2. The lawyer for the dude had a rough time of it because they kept asking about what so and so doctor said about it. But, guess what? The American Medical Association which dictates rules for all doctors has taken the political stance that capital punishment is unethical, so no doctor can assist, advise, or participate in any way in carrying out an execution. They even say you can't do shit like treat somebody that's declared incompetent to be executed if that treatment will lead to their execution by being declared competent again. ama-assn.org/delivering-care/ethics/capital-punishment
3. This is fucking stupid. They claim this shit about how doctors must "do no harm" and how they also have a responsibility to treat those that are suffering. If this guy was going to be executed no matter fucking what then refusing to advise the supreme court or states about a manner of execution that's going to cause less suffering goes against their own fucking principals. I can't understand this shit. It's absurd. And a doctor will probably lose their job and malpractice insurance to never be employed by anyone ever again, and maybe their license as well, so it's pretty fucking difficult if you want to go against this policy.
He's criminal scum and deserves no rights or choice. He should be killed whichever way is chosen by the state.
Jonathan King
This guy gets it
Luis Foster
Dumb attack on doctors when courts should just accept it.
Go choke on a dick, fatally.
Noah Scott
Just shoot them in the head.
Mason Sanchez
Why let them pick a last meal but not be allowed to pick how they die? Seems more logical that your last request which must be granted ought to be the manner in which your execution is carried out, not some fried chicken and pizza.
Criminals don't get to demand a half million dollar nitrogen chamber gets built to make their passing easier.
Ayden Ross
based.
Owen Brooks
Firing squad is the obvious choice especially in America since we're used to shooting each other. You have 9 live bullets and a blank at 15-20 feet. Hard to screw up. But they want to make it look all clinical so they keep fucking around with different drug combos.
Tyler Hernandez
I reckon a good way of killing murderers would be a large microwave over chamber. Microwave them on full power for 15 minutes and cremate the remains.
Levi Green
Yeah I don't think he should get a choice. I don't really care about whether it's painful. What I'm saying is it's expensive and ineffective to do lethal injection. It has failed before and they couldn't even execute the fucking guy. It was cancelled. As far as the money goes you've got medical equipment, you have to find and train and pay people a lot more to do that, the drugs are expensive and difficult to obtain which delays a lot of executions that should have taken place a lot earlier.
You can go out and buy a tank of nitrogen and a mask right now. It's easy as fuck. No special training, equipment, and no problems with finding the shit.
Literally not attacking doctors. I'm attacking people who are so idiotically opposed to the death penalty that they're making it harder, slower, and more expensive to do and going against their own principals.
Absolutely. Cheap, fast, and effective. Pretty sure that's still an option in 1 or 2 states. That would be great. But not gonna happen in the US.
Zachary Kelly
what about injecting them with gasoline instead of fancy silly chemicals? no benzos or other amnesics beforehand either, just strap em up and shoot a half gallon of 100 octane in them.
Daniel Sanders
Mcveigh was killed by firing squad.
Aaron Hill
You don't need a gas chamber. Take the existing lethal injection rooms and put a tank and a mask in there. Put it on and wait. That's it. Cheap as fuck.
Eli Cook
For that guy I hope they missed a couple times.
Jackson Carter
Rope is cheap.
Jose Clark
I genuinely dont understand peoples compassion for criminals, is they were executed by flaying to death I really wouldnt give a crap.
Benjamin Scott
It's funny doctors are so concerned about patients well being unless it's some tranny asking for it's dick to be chopped off.
That last meal stuff got cancelled years ago, tryn keep up boomer
Carter Jackson
Yee-haw
James Ramirez
Timothy McVeigh was black ops, retard. Try huffing less paint and actually learning what it means to be a national socialist before you post here you fucking larping little piece of shit. Fuck you you worthless faggot, do us all a fuckin' favor and go become cannon fodder. Now.
I can agree with that, but then juries and the families of victims wouldn't want to request execution vs. life w/o parole and we'd be paying for that shit.
Also if you don't have a quick, effective, relatively nonviolent way to execute people then everyone in america is just gonna get all pissy about it and it'll be banned at the federal level.
So no matter how you feel about the criminals (which you shouldn't really give a shit either way), implementing nitrogen asphyxiation would be a good thing to do. More people should be sentenced to death *if there is irrefutable proof of their crimes*, and they should not have appeals, and the execution should be carried out within a week. If the proof isn't absolutely solid they could get 1 appeal and like a year or some shit.
Jonathan Gutierrez
Too bad about all the "muh feelings" types who worry about the mental health of guards who carry out firing squad executions.
Hunter Hughes
I have literally no idea what you just said or why you're so mad.
Oliver Barnes
This good bait though op got me
Joshua Campbell
Last time they did that there were so many volunteers they had to be picked by lottery. I wouldn't worry too much.
Angel Myers
But, did he really? That is the question.
Caleb Kelly
Most people aren't extreme IQlets and can understand things like false convictions happening. And considering you're posting on here the chances of it happening to you are probably significantly higher than a random person lmao.
Nolan Taylor
You think it was a false flag to make people sympathize with the Feds?
Christopher Flores
>so no doctor can assist, advise, or participate in any way in carrying out an execution WRONG!
Anyone justifying, supporting, aiding and/or participating in death penalty is either: a. A sick statist b. a sociopath c. a combination of thereof
/thread
Landon King
>gets charged for supporting trump too enthusiastically
Dylan Anderson
I don't really want to pay for people that raped and killed children being held in prison for the rest of their life. And the more violent insane people in prison the greater the risk for guards and staff. And you know, they also rape and stab other prisoners who did some shit but don't deserve to be raped and stabbed in a prison. I don't think that makes me a sadist or a sociopath. It's literally not even close to eye for an eye.
Anthony Baker
statist faggot
Christian Anderson
It doesn't take a medical doctor to figure this out. Nitrogen asphyxiation is more humane than any execution method currently in use.
Son, you're asking questions that 99% of this board cannot answer because they're too stupid. But this guy-He's right. Except for firing squad. That's for soldiers only IMO.
Tyler Scott
Yeah I was kinda hoping it wouldn't just devolve into garbage. Been a few years since I was around Jow Forums.
The firing squad thing is sort of a non-issue I think because no state is ever going to add that back in as an option. It's quick and effective, but not a real option.
Why do you say it should be for soldiers only?
Appreciate the comments on the topic.
Tyler Cooper
What happened to firing squads?
Elijah Clark
>freak rapes and beheads your infant son >repeatedly assaulted in jail, put on death row >if we kill him, we're just as bad as him xDDDD
James Diaz
Only available as an option if selected by the inmate in Utah, Mississippi and Oklahoma.
Aaron Butler
...
Brayden Young
Nope, false convictions happen and all the supposed "benefits" of the death penalty you've listed, are not even worth of a single falsely executed person. And there are countless other reasons, of to why the state must not be permitted to engage in pre-meditated murder. >You are a retard. Fuck off stupid sadist.
Jonathan Rivera
>Why do you say it should be for soldiers only? It's a warrior's execution. It's still allowed under US military regulation IIRC. I think it's best if the condemned are allowed to take their own lives, if given the option. In Japan, this is seen as more honorable than being executed as a symbol of atonement.
Elijah Cruz
It's still easy to game the system for a last meal. Just gotta pretend you know where a missing persons body is located but you want a bucked of kfc first before you show them.
Adam Smith
Yes I believe it's still on the books for military court death sentences, but it hasn't been used in quite awhile. There were quite a few during WWII.
How would that work, though? Obviously you can't give them a gun, so would you give them a selection or something?
That's also pretty similar to allowing them to choose their method of execution. With nitrogen asphyxiation, all you'd have to do if put the mask next to them and let them put it on themselves. I think that would be a great option.
Caleb Thompson
The American system is mentally retarded and inefficient.
Parker Cooper
Have any of you ever discussed the flamethrower penalty for Capital Child Rape?
>so would you give them a selection or something? Cyanide pill. Harmless to anyone but someone who swallows it.
Oliver Morales
So what about cases where there is zero question of the person's guilt? For example, a man murders his wife and 3 children after she finds out he has been raping their 8 year old daughter. He is caught on video from a neighbor's security camera leaving, his gun with blood on it is found in a ditch 500ft away, his shoeprints in blood are found throughout the house, and he is apprehended later after leaving the state and attempting to hide in the woods. He then confesses and gives details about the crime that only the murderer would know, and all of the questioning is taped from start to finish.
You think that case should not be punishable by death?
Levi Hill
Painful execution is already less unethical than making prisoners live in a violent, inescapable hellhole that ensures 100% recidivism. Bring back guillotines.
Landon Rogers
This could be you tho once the Dems take over
Dylan Perry
Hmmm... that's actually a very good idea. I would like to see that and nitrogen as options. Both can be done simply by the prison and both are sure-fire, rapid methods.
Out of curiosity, do you not like the nitrogen thing for some reason?
Nitrogen is fine. It would be VERY undramatic too. As long as the condemned can breathe the CO2 back out of their system, no reflexes would be triggered.
Jackson Walker
Ah yes, the trolley problem. Not sure what the flamethrower thing is though.
Exactly. No feeling of air hunger, just rapid unconsciousness.
I like the cyanide idea but what happens if they don't want to take it? Can't really force them to. So I suppose choice of taking the cyanide themselves or voluntarily/involuntarily with the nitrogen.
Nathaniel Morgan
Based 8 is with us
Daniel Perry
Life in prison, it is not up to the state to execute people, what's the point of having a state if it just fucking kills people, even life in prison is too harsh he should be released after 15 years if he is no longer a danger to society, damn americans are psychopaths no wonder your murder rate is so high.
Caleb Cox
Nobody wants to clean that shit up.
Wyatt Brooks
Literally how could you ever say someone like that is not a danger to society? That makes no sense.
Carson Foster
Just because you murder someone doesn't make you a terrible person life isn't black and white you dumb fucks. What's the point of killing people revenge? How can the state avenge a crime, it can't, save money? Prisons in my country costs a fraction of yours, maybe stop the jewing of the private prison companies dumb fucks.
Cameron Reed
>You think that case should not be punishable by death? No, it should not. Nothing is ever certain, especially when irreversible "punishment" is considered. At any rate, I doubt a bunch of sadistic faggots busy with jerking off to the technical details of the death penalty, would appreciate the whole philosophical argument against it. Once again - you are either a deranged statist, a a psychopath, or both.
Isaac White
Most released murderers never reoffend burger nigger.
Levi Lee
It's funny we are in poor countries totally against the death penalty and burgers in the most develloped country in the world all have a hard on for justice and punishment it's crazy.
Parker Price
The states job isn't to punish people the states job is to protect society how is killing someone protecting society.
Badinter: "If the fear of death stopped men, we would have neither great soldiers nor great sportsmen"
Nolan Torres
Agreed. He's on death row for a reason, he doesn't get to pick and choose as the person or persons he killed didn't get to choose
Dominic Sullivan
>The American Medical Association which dictates rules for all doctors has taken the political stance that capital punishment is unethical
Lol. But abortion is totally cool! Totally consistent.
Asher Reyes
You know what's even quicker and cheaper than asphyxiation? A guillotine. I still don't understand why we abandoned old methods that objectively work quite well. It seems to be more about adopting whatever the latest technology is, than actually giving death row inmates a relatively quick and painless death.
Mason Miller
Within 3 years, 2.5% of released rapists were arrested for another rape, and 1.2% of those who had served time for homicide were arrested for homicide. These are the lowest rates of re-arrest for the same category of crime.
I'm anti abortion and anti death penalty, please use your head don't let the devil possess you everyone deserves to live.
Xavier Jackson
>what's the point of having a state if it just fucking kills people Have you ever heard of militaries or wars?
Why are you so mad? The point of executing the most heinous criminals is that they can never be returned to society and there is therefore no point in keeping them in prison forever, both logically and financially. Also nice racism while criticising me for my unethical "want for revenge".
Why can't you have a normal discussion with me rather than calling me a faggot and other insults, and refusing to talk? Super weak shit right there. If you wanna tell me about the argument against it please do, but don't be such a fucking asshole about.
Nathaniel Myers
>guillotine It's not painless dumb fuck nigger that's a myth just look at frances history of using it untill the late 70s
Jacob Gonzalez
>It's funny we are in poor countries totally against the death penalty and burgers in the most develloped country in the world all have a hard on for justice and punishment it's crazy. Because they dissociate the reality of it, the real horror of the thing with themselves. We on the other hand, have seen and experienced first hand all sorts of hardshipes and can easily imagine ourselves or our beloved ones, wrongfully or even rightfully convicted and sentenced to death. We have much more pragmatic outlook on the state and know that it has allways been and will be a deeply flawed institution and letting it kill people in the name of all its citizens is just outright wrong. But mutts can be shitting on their state and calling it manipulated by jews and st the same time justifying letting it kill people. They just don't understand the reality of it, or at least I hope so. Because otherwise, they should be outright sadistic and evil to do so.
John Harris
Removing defective humans from the gene pool so they can't re-offend is protecting society.
But IMO it should be reserved for the most heinous crimes and where the evidence leaves no doubt of guilt. People caught in the act of committing mass murders and stuff like that.
Lucas Brown
Honestly, if anyone being put to death should be allowed to choose how they die. Why not? Plus, the whole concept of killing someone in a humane way is ridiculous. How could you possibly execute someone in a manner that isnt cruel or unusual? A bullet to the back of the head sounds way better than fucking lethal injection.
Lucas Gonzalez
>discuss Anyone on death row or in for life and are without question guilty should be led out into the woods, beaten then shot. And leave their bodies out for the hungry little bugs and what not, weird little things
Stfu mutt, I'm also anti imperialist only your barbarian country and it's loyal followers continue to create most of the wars and conflict on earth.
Also nice comparison comparing state killing it's own people it's whole point is to protect to a state conducting a war war is neccesary for peace sometimes, capital punishment is never neccesary. It's only there for a fake idea of justice for sick burger mutts.
Henry Watson
not just that, he should be given the most painful and torture filled death one can get
Cooper King
>3. This is fucking stupid. They claim this shit about how doctors must "do no harm" and how they also have a responsibility to treat those that are suffering. And a doctor will probably lose their job and malpractice insurance to never be employed by anyone ever again, and maybe their license as well, so it's pretty fucking difficult if you want to go against this policy. no its a good thing
the guy shouldnt be put to death anyways, and if you have to do it then who the fuck cares. hang him shoot him decapitate him lethal inject him whatever you're just grasping at straws dude this is where your fucking moral quandry is lmao
Samuel Lewis
>Why can't you have a normal discussion with me rather than calling me a faggot and other insults, and refusing to talk? Super weak shit right there. If you wanna tell me about the argument against it please do, but don't be such a fucking asshole about. I told you the single most important argument and you just ignored it. A bunch of your fellow compatriots are against death penalty and killing people in their name (state acts in the name of the citizens) and with their money is fucking wrong. Get it? It's literally the same thing as aborting with christian man's taxes. This kind of morally dubious shit must not be done by the civilized state
Christopher Wright
The justice system is never foolproof you dumb fucking nigger statists like you were saying the same thing during the USSR in my country you have the same view anybody can be found guily of murder while the are innocent and even if they are not innocent just because you murder someone doesn't mean you deserve to die, keep spitting your eye for an eye jewish venom.
Luis Reed
Few deaths are, it's pretty difficult to consistently kill without any pain or suffering. Ironically more "humane" and also complicated methods like lethal injection have had their share of issues as well. The 0.6 seconds before someone loses consciousness after their head is severed from their body isn't worth nitpicking over, though.
Brayden Clark
+ you say hurr durr my shekels my taxes but you have to have them on death row which is much more expensive then normal jail even counting they will die at the end, but hurr durr my taxes. You really want wild west style lynchings sick statist motherfuckers, think with your head killing people is bad no matter the context.
Kayden Perry
>the guy shouldnt be put to death anyways, and if you have to do it then who the fuck cares. hang him shoot him decapitate him lethal inject him whatever you're just grasping at straws dude this is where your fucking moral quandry is lmao The cuck of truth!
Charles Richardson
Then I'll pick death by exhaustion while I fuck.
Bring me the tittieeees!
Cooper Cruz
No you dumb fucks don't know how to kill people either look at the way we killed people in the USSR or how they do it currently in belorussia the dude doesn't even know when he's going to die they just walk him through a maze of corridors bam shoot him in the back of the head he never even knew he dided if you shoot the root of the brain on the back it's instant lights off you dumb motherfucks don't even know how to properly kill people yet you are pro execution lmao.
"It was also used in the execution of those who had committed ordinary criminal offences. On occasion, it is said, the person to be executed was led through a series of corridors, not knowing when or where the shot takes place.[citation needed] Even after the break up of the Soviet Union, people continued to be executed by shooting. The mass murderer Andrei Chikatilo was executed in this way in 1994, just before Russia halted use of the death penalty as part of its accession to the Council of Europe."
Benjamin Robinson
Roomba or a robot from Bostondynamics can do that shit now.
Jackson Wright
Don't tell him the details, I think they are literally enjoying reading it.
this is what you do with murderers first offense crime of passions etc maybe 7 - 10 years reoffending or very heinous crime yeah life sure.
Christian Nguyen
You are delusional. Rope is too kind for most western leaders for example. Not everyone deserves to live since the actions of certain people rightfully nullifies their right to life and physical integrity
Liam Davis
Great reason for nitrogen asphyxiation. 100% effectiveness and 0 pain or even discomfort.
I didn't ignore it. I responded to it actually. If the people who elect representative in our government didn't want the death penalty, then those representatives would have outlawed it. So your argument is flawed. I don't know why you feel like executing the worse, most fucked up, emotionless, evil people is morally dubious. If these people are still around they will continue to cause suffering for the families of their victims as they appeal their sentences and take up time and resources of the courts and law enforcement and prisons. You say it's not right to use peoples' money to execute the most heinous criminals on earth but it is okay to use 30x more money to keep them fed and housed and medically cared for in prison for the rest of their lives?
Daniel Myers
It's incredible they have this complicated bizarre satanic ways of killing people with gas, electricity or a cocktail of shitty chemicals it really doesn't make sense...
Lucas Taylor
Until you get convicted of a crime you didnt commit.
