I didn't ignore it. I responded to it actually. If the people who elect representative in our government didn't want the death penalty, then those representatives would have outlawed it. So your argument is flawed. I don't know why you feel like executing the worse, most fucked up, emotionless, evil people is morally dubious. If these people are still around they will continue to cause suffering for the families of their victims as they appeal their sentences and take up time and resources of the courts and law enforcement and prisons.
