It’s Disney’s endgame. LucasFilm was bought years ago. Their endgame is to make money. You make money with the Star Wars name, the content is irrelevant. And you make 5-6 times more money from games, merchandising, Disneyland installations etc., than the films.

Having grown up watching the star wars movies ad nauseum, played a shit ton of the games, read a lot of the books - even I don't fucking get how you retards care that much about this shit. Literally only 2 of the 10 (guaranteed to be 2 of 11) movies are even good, the books are at their best 70s campy sci-fi space opera with terrible story and character development, and the entire series has been a shallow vehicle for selling dolls to man children from the very beginning.

Literally all I see in this post is muh hollow consumerist hellscape is hocking cheap garbage to a new subculture as my self identified subculture slides into irrelevance :(
