Now I wish I hadn’t bought this. Is it hard to fix cracks? I assume it’s more than just slapping wood glue on the thing. Crack starts at nosecap and goes about 6 inches down the middle.

Depends on what has been done to it. If there’s any permanent modifications, there’s nothing you can do. I remember one user bought a sporterized mas36 and bought all the stock parts, then discovered the barrel had been cut an inch.
