What Would have Happened after WW2 if Nukes were never invented

What would have happened Jow Forums? The final stages of WW2 would have been different the USA would have had to commence a land invasion of Japan but what would happen after that? How would the world be different today?

Would we have seen a WW3 scenario similar to WW2 but on steroids? Pic related some war machines that might have actually been put to use

There wouldn't have been a baby boom, so maybe we'd be better off

Fire bombing pretty much brought Japan to its knees. They were close to surrendering at that point. Nukes just pushed them over the edge.

Mostly likely, a couple of more weeks of firebombing and surrender when US battleships are shelling Tokyo.

Nukes didn't end the war, they were pretty much irrelevant honestly.

It was the firebombing that killed Japan. No nukes = maybe a few months more before it officially ended, but the song remains the same.

MY OWN CLONE
NOW NEITHER OF US WILL BE VIRGINS

the soviets and chinese would never have ascended to world power status. it would just be america, and the rest of you chumps

We were out of nukes anyway. We had neglected to stop at nukes-r-us on they way... Basically after dropping 2 we were bluffing. They bought it.

Wouldnt the soviets have just pushed through the rest of Europe
