Mini vs micro draco

Which one should i buy, the mini draco or the micro draco?
I already have a pap m92, now i want something smaller.
The m92 barrel is 10in
The mini is 7.75
The micro is 6.25
Im looking for the smallest intermediate rifle possible while still being effective.
Im also looking at the mcx rattler but its very expensive so its gonna be saved for later.
Is the barrel length lost from the mini to the micro worth the loss in velocity? Is the flash, recoil, and noise to much from the micro for it to be practical in a pdw role? Id love ya'lls thoughts

If anyone is curious i would be putting a railed handguard with a red dot and a folding brace on it

Its a "pistol", so just about every state sans new York Massachusetts California and hawaii

Everywhere pretty much. That's technically a pistol in the books.

Everywhere in america where democrates dont control the government

Then why are you looking at anything firing 7.62x39 out of a short barrel?

7.62 is an excellent cartridge for an sbr, would you like to name something more effectice besides 300 blackout?

What railed handguard would you put on a micro that hold a red dot? I have a micro with a slr rifleworks handguard. The problem with that is there is no upper handguard.

As for velocity, you will still have better velocity than any pistol caliber rifle (.357 mag excluded). At 50 yards I can ring steel consistently even without a brace. The same people who say a rifle caliber pistol is impractical are often fawning over pistol caliber carbines.

Im curious if the micro keyholes alot, im also curious about specific velocity from a 6in barrel, couldnt find any data on that. Also curious if someone thinks another gun is smaller and has more power than a micro

Oh I remember seeing that when I bought mine. You have to drill and thread into the top of the gun. I guess you're considering buying the TSS pre-installed draco. They weren't selling those when I bought mine. Pretty cool.

Mine has never keyholed. The one thing I worry about is that the plastic recoil buffer it uses will eventually wear out and I'm not sure if you can find an exact replacement. here's a thread about that: akfiles.com/forums/showthread.php?t=298425 There are different AK buffers that might be able to replace it though.

My buddy is a machinist i was gonna have him install it.
I would think printing out a peice of plastic or maybe even carving a piece of wood into the right shape would work as a buffer replacement. Pretty sure its there just to make sure the bolt doesnt go to far back.

I think so too. The dust cover on my micro draco is slightly different from my other AKs. It's crimped in on the back a little more and I can't put a regular AK dustcover on it. I think that's another extra precaution the made to keep the back end from flying off.

Should I take the plunge? Baby vz. 58 in 5.56. Also comes in a pistol variant but I like being able to shoulder.

none, get an AR pistol with a brace

I hope the holes on that muzzle are big enough to accommodate all the keyholing

Commercial or hand rolled
Commercial 6.8spc does pretty damn good, but below 9" It's hard to get anything above 2000fps without dropping weight.
