y'know i really thought i had touched upon something Jow Forums would be interested in
i mean space holds plenty of opportunities for unique and creative weapon designs
fpbp
nigga it's 7:35 on a Sunday.
gyrojets or self propelled projectiles are the only viable option, because they would negate the effects of recoil in 0g
I think underwater presents a similar scenario, except you have supercavitating rounds that will turn any nato gun into an underwater gun
go to church then eastern time zone nigga
Yeah dude. Quit wasting time here and go waste time listening to God.
My only local church is one of those black scam churches.
AH LAWDY WE GUNNA LEARN ABOUT JEEBUS TODAY
where to worchip pic related?
in spess
is this spess cube are making guns come to life as anime grils?
i mean anime girls have that centrifugal inertia going for them so it would help with accuracy
not sure its worth the upkeep of having to feed your weapons even when not in use though
but that sweet gunpucci?
wouldnt really want the sploogey mess
and now that i think of it would gunpowder be an absolute nightmare in zero gravity?
not for the firing its self but the residue launched everywhere
>not wearing spess helments
what is this amateur hour?
helmets indoors?
i mean i need a weapon to keep under my pillow and it seems weird to have a powderless pistol just for the bed
reminder that china has spess QTs
are astronauts Jow Forums?
Honestly, probably something like an old .32 police revolver or something. Maybe a .22 pistol.
In space you only need a tiny hole in your suit (or your ship) to get dead real fast. I dunno how lubes might freeze in space, so something with fewer interacting parts would be best. Plus lower recoil.
pneumatic flechetes or slingshot weapons would work well, you could put explosive tips on them too, like those .357 meme arrowheds
are if you know what chinmonauts get as a spess weapon
americans just had a knife
as in the OP russia had the anti-bear pistol
india has the projectile prolapse
Air gun for indoors.
DU rounds for outdoors
>tfw you will never hunt Lunar Skinwalkers in the dark Mares and bright plains of the moon
are DU rounds just as pyrophoric in spess as on the erth?
>the pyrophoric nature of uranium and steel would cause the DU to catch fire upon penetration, causing catastrophic damage inside the tank
they just copy whatever anybody else has, at 10% cost and effectiveness
Thing is, everything is space is super fragile. You don't need fancy AP rounds or anything. This scene from 007 gives a good idea what space combat would actually be like. Knives and Mobility win every time.
(and no it's not Moonraker)

I mostly just suggested DU because the risk of local contamination is basically 0. I'd expect Neutron Bombs to come into vogue again too. Just cook the enemy and walk past the corpses.
does china even have bears to worry about?
not sure they can produce cheaper anuses than india either
underwater and space are totally different, in space you have no resistance, and in water you have shittons of resistance, but you have pic related for underwater, the most you have for space is the gyrojet
they have india beat in quantity versus quality, and they will probably just dress up someone in a bear suit and call it good
bear-squach in spess
man we're learning about martian folklore before the colonies even start
i was mistaken, wikipedia sez that china has shitty endangered bears pic related
man the TP-82 would turn those to paste
would the +10% efficiency buff from being chinese turn the 40gauge into a 44gauge? im not great with caliburs
>im not great with caliburs
have an explain of gauge frend
gee gagues are even worse than .50cal being different from .50cal
the tl;dr is you take a number of lead balls the diameter of the barrel and then count of balls that make 1 pound of weight. that number of balls is the guage
the .410 bore shotgun is in fact a caliber measure of .41 caliber [10.4 mm]
caliber has differnt meanings too, but generally accepted as thousandths of an inch
well thats much simpler
do you think laser weapons are null gauge or should we count every particle as a projectile?
>particle wave theory
mah nigga
if it follows conventional laser weapon practice, it would be in power output and wavelength,
