There is literally no reason for a combat firearms to not be brown. It is the most versitile color for concealment.

Brown is a practical camo color. And it pleases CSMs because they don’t have to risk soldiers being creative with spray paint.

OD > FDE

>looks
Found the problem right there. Guns aren’t fde for looks.

Because you can pretend to be a high speed desert operator guy.

Reminder that grey is the best neutral followed by od

Based on what? Aesthetics? Yeah, alright. Camo? Afraid not.

Say no more.

I don't.

If the enemy is close enough to make out a black weapon you should have shot him 300m ago.

All non-department-issued FDE guns are exclusively for looks.

Safeties are retarded and I'm glad they removed it to make fudds reee.

Safeties are a crutch for the retarded.

That guy's blog is just shilling for 5.11. Gray isn't even good for urban environments. The Marine Corps tested out over a hundred separate base colors for concealment across a broad range of environments. Coyote is the most abundant color in both their desert and woodland fatigues and is the color for all of their TA50. The reason is that it is the most practical and versatile. Even companies that submitted their patterns to the US Army's camo trials with gray ultimately revised the patterns to take gray out. It just wasn't working. Even so, all of your premise rests on the idea that cities are gray and that everything you need to conceal for is a city. That really isn't the case in all but the most built up AND industrial areas. There is no such thing as a camo pattern or color that will conceal you against a solid, flat background unless you color match that background exactly.

This is so painfully retarded. There is no way that you ever were or could have been a soldier. Fuck, even an airshitter.

What’s with this grey business now? Is the grey meme for SWAT lovers? How many guns are even grey?

There are literally two reasons guys fall for the gray meme.

>they are a COD loving mall ninjas
or
>stormfags like gray cause nazis wore it

Those are the absolute only existing options for liking gray for uniforms. Anything outside of that is lies.

Good luck pinning down what "gray" even means when it comes to nazis. Feldgrau or "field gray" came in fucking rainbow colors.

Guess you'll be hidden during the summer at least.

The one place blue grey excels is planes. There were a few F-15s over my town today, and when they turned so you were looking at their sides or head on, they might as well have turned invisible.

The sky is blue? No kidding.

>stupid
False.
>ugly
True.
