Usually they work, sometimes they don't and the finish is always awful. If your looking to buy an AR for under 1000 syrup vouchers then you're better off buying the M&P. The other option is an NEA and as much hate as they get my NEA works pretty damn well after I put about 300 rounds though it and it started to smooth out a bit.
