you could actually cheat with crescent-moonclips – even if they're regulated by number of rounds they can hold, you can use multiple moonclips to rapidly reload a tumbler as long as the arc of the clip matches that of the tumbler, which you obviously can't do with a limited magazine.

Standard size for ARs used to be 20 rounds. When I got my Colt Sporter, it came with 3 20 round mags. Also included were mag blocks that restricted the mags to 5 round capacity, for hunting purposes. Took about 15 seconds to install or remove the blocks. I used to have to scrounge for 30 round mags in pawnshops in Oceanside, because Marines will pawn anything that isn’t bolted down.

So how do the rounds stay in the cylinders and how does changing the cylinder work. Is there a hole for the ejector rod to go through the frame? Why is the crane still there if you have that many cylinders.
