I owned one without problems, but the mounting system involves a friction fit and loctite/glue.

I bought my dad the HBAR M4 with carry handle for like 600 a few years back. He's an old fudd that never uses it but he brags about it all the time.
I'm sure they do but I'm impulsive and figured that the 7" barrel and 2-1/2" md would clear a 9" rail.

Brownells has KAC M4 handguards back in stock. Glad I waited a few weeks and didnt pay almost double to some ass hole on armslist. only thing that sucks is that it only come with 3 full length rail covers and no vert grip.

I thought it was me. That's what the guy I bought it from said it was, but when it showed up, it was the chevron.
I got it sighted in at an indoor range yesterday at 25y. If I understood right, I just use the post under the chevron as my point of aim at 25 to get the correct zero.

Iunno... ACSS makes me erect. Clean enough to not be distracting, detailed enough to usefully range with, eye-catching enough to fill in for a red dot. Wouldn't complain about having either, but I think ACSS has the edge at CQB without giving up too much sight picture.
