Open bolt blowbacks can be so simple. The case extracts itself, and the firing pin can be the ejector.

What do you mean? I get the part about the cases extracting themselves but how would the firing pin eject the case?

HI point does this I think. Basically at the end of travel when the case is supposed to eject. The firing pin gets a little shove and that ejects the casing.
It's brilliant. It just means don't eject live rounds.

Well you're leaving a bunch of stuff out but that's basically how open bolt works. It's also full-auto so it's illegal as fuck to manufacture even IF it wasn't already illegal to manufacture semi auto open bolt guns. It's not that much harder to design a gas operated closed bolt firearm. I think you should let this design go.
