Reminder that people that backed squad on kickstarter or got the early founders edition (or something like that) get a free key for PS.

I must say I really love the way only the armor squad can drive armor and only the logistics squad can drive the logistics trucks. Really cuts down on randoms taking vehicles or a random infantry squad grabbing a vehicle like in Squad. Now the infantry squads are free to focus solely on infantry things like capturing flags without the headache of having to place a fob.

Compared to the state of modern AAA games, Squad is pretty much "out" already. All multiplayer games nowadays release as betas or even alphas and you pay to playtest them

Really looking forward to this.
I want to help them by giving them money, but I'm not doing that until I see some sort of gameplay footage.

They just had another update that finally included new character models and changed some of the UI.
I just played some post scriptum and it feels like it could have been a mod. I'm not paying another 30 bucks for the same exact game with bolt rifles.

Buying early access is perfectly fine just don't be retarded about it and preorder Battlefront 1/2 or Battlefield games. Or anything from EA really.

I backed squad for $30 and got 400 hours in that game + a free key for PS. Based on the 5 hours I've played it's the Forgotten Hope 2 replacement I've longed for so I'm sure to rack up hundreds of hours in that game as well.

also that house is the same design as the one from BoB when they enter nuenen and and MG42 opens up and someone destroys it with a rifle grenade

It could use some optimization, but I agree, it was both a breath of fresh air and tremendously fun.
I spent most of the time tanking. I was doing pretty well when my driver would listen.

i was talking with some friends about the use of mobile spawn points instead of rallys

it sort of breaks up the squad play. once one or two of your squad dies there is no way to meet up or keep fighting as a cohesive unit since you cant spawn on a nearby rally

i cant decide if it needs changing or not though, the game is not trying to be squad so maybe it works

they definitely need to decrease the spawn times on the mobile spawn trucks tho

the fighting on Osterbeek is probably one of the best parts of the game right now
