half the appeal of ro2/rs1 to me was, if i was having a really bad day, i could just boot up apartments or spartanovka and just mow down waves of bots with a mg for an hour
not having that option in rs2 killed the game for me

At least online ones. One wonders if we'll get servers where it's humans vs bots on territories

New maps were added with the ARVN Update, plus those from the ANZAC update

I don't know the numbers, but there's slightly more variety now

Also if you're playing without Custom Maps you're doing it wrong. A lot of them are really good

I really wish the NVA got more attention. Just the amount of weird shit they were using would make fighting them even more unpredictable, a weird Hodge-podge of whatever they could get their hands on. MAS-49s, Arisakas, MG 42s, Type 99 LMgs, vz 58s, MP 40s, Type 63s, hell US soldiers encountered fucking rocket armed Antonov AN-2 biplanes
