Why are Amerimutts so afraid of S-400? They also threatened Turkey the other day.

Friends don't let friends purchase rushit

I'm skeptical that they're scarred. it's the same deal with the Turkish Gov and their dealings regarding the S-400. If they bought it it would a be a few systems that wouldn't be able to be used with other systems. Not to mention it's own supply chain that because so few might be acquired means it will be significantly more expensive. India has a supply chain from Hell. No need to make it more complicated when they might be heading westward over the coming years.

>Friends
"Friends" also don't threaten to attack "friends".

US and UK threatened to attack India and sent a flotilla. India had to ask Russians for help. India still has a defense agreement with Russia.

tl;dr: India and US are not friends.

give a better news source, Mexican friendo.

>India still has a defense agreement with Russia.
How true is this?

>tl;dr: India and US are not friends.
Them looking at the Super Hornet says otherwise. Not to mention the C-17s and P-8s being procured.

>How true is this?
They signed a treaty of cooperation in the 70s. It's no longer valid.

>They signed a treaty of cooperation in the 70s. It's no longer valid.
But it is. Russia still sells billions of dollars worth of equipment of India every year. They even lease them a nuke sub.

>russian sub run by indians

Will mutts ever learn?

They're not afraid of the system, they're afraid of Indian incompetence starting another regional conflict through shooting down airliners belonging to US "allies".

>falling for the SAM meme

yes, good goy

>rt

lol didn't read

Any other news source. The New Delhi times would be better and I’m not even sure if it’s a real thing.
> Used toilet paper has more sources than rt.

>Why are Amerimutts so afraid of S-400?

Because all S-400 surveillance data logged and is accessible by Russian technicians.
So nations that operate it alongside their own air forces using western aircraft, will be logging massive amounts of data that Russia can use to make their air defence more capable of identifying NATO aircraft.

The system itself isn't all that frightening but the opportunity to hand Russia some back-door intelligence gathering capabilities in nations that are notionally friendly to the US on a plate, is bad in the long run

>Why are Amerimutts so afraid of S-400? They also threatened Turkey the other day.
Because Americans now are like Soviets - controlled by ideology. While Russians are now like Americans - controlled by Free Market values.

Literally the opposite.

>be dominated by "Free market values"
>Get hit with crippling sanctions because you stubbornly refuse to give up a naval base when you don't even have a real navy anymore

>The US has serious concerns about India’s plans to buy the S-400 air defence system from Russia as it will inhibit ability of militaries from the two nations to operate together, chairman of the powerful US House Armed Services Committee has said. Concerns about India’s potential purchase of the S-400 have been conveyed to different levels of the government and the Russian system would also make it difficult for the US to share sensitive technology in the future, committee members “There is a lot of concern in the US administration and Congress with the S-400.
>There is concern that any country that acquires the system will complicate the ability of interoperability (with US forces),” House Armed Services Committee chairman Mac Thornberry said in response to a question by ET.

This Economic Times article is from where the official words of mister Mac Thornberry comes from.

This. Slav airdefense systems are not the best buy really

Yeah, enjoy your 19th century empire and living conditions ivan

Saudi Arabia is getting S-400's too. Odd that the US cares about India when they're much closer to KSA.

Hell Putin even offered the system to Israel and Netanyahu refused it in favor of domestic stuff like Arrow-3

I've got to say I admire the way the Turks go about getting hold of stuff to let them do what they want.

Turkey's parastatals grab everything they can, investigate/test, harvest the best elements, integrate and build national independent systems out of it. Almost no one else does this, except Israel and China. Western countries too cucked, third world no money.
