Hey Jow Forums, i'm looking for movies in the essence of Taken, with spooky operators doing spooky stuff with very limited logistics.
I've just watched the foreigner, but it's subpar.
Any suggestion?

Well, 1st of all Liam and Matt Damon (Jason Bourne), are Huge Anti Gun Faggots, and constantly use their fame to bitch about guns. Hypocrites...
Sicario
Way of the Gun
13 hours (Benghazi) (thanks Killary)
Blackhawk Down
HBOs the Band of Brothers (Army)
HBOs the Pacific (Marines)
John Wick 1 & 2 (2 is Better)
Rambo
Red Dawn
the new Judge Dredd
I am wrath fits your bill
>John Wick
just watched Wind River, breddy gud/10
Also hell or high water
Charles Bronson
heard about Longmire, is that anything like it?
I just remembered
"The Park is Mine"
Tommy Lee Jones early 80s
It's a Decent story, but he's a tough old cowboy, not really an Operator
The GOAT are the bourne series tbg
Hey Fuckface, if someone did a movie involving Cancer, would they be hypocrites if they like, didn't like Cancer? You're the reason gun owners look like imbeciles.
Taxi Driver isn't about a spooky operator, but it certainly fits the "limited logistics" bill.
If you like martial arts then The Raid 1 & 2 are required viewing with this kind of theme.
Check this one out. Knife operators. It's dope
Atomic Blonde.
The Man From Nowhere.
OP here.
I guess I wasn't specific enough, but I was especially looking for something not military (or at least not in the usual way).
Wind River seems pretty good, i'll give it a try.
Will give the bourne serie another try, but I remember being bored to death on a couple attempts at watching the first one.
You Were Never Really Here is about Walking Pheonix killing human traffickers with a ball peen, although I'm not sure if it's an actual movie, or a camera crew just followed the guy around for a week.
>John Wick 1 & 2 (2 is Better)
>2 is better
Shit taste desu
Mine is former military. Tommy Lee Jones trains people to be operator as fuck and do stealth kills with knives.
Years later his best student beliseo del Toro goes a little crazy and is ambushing government operators innawoods.
They ask Tommy Lee Jones to help hunt him down.
Has pretty legit knife choreography
>Walking Pheonix
Shit this is exactly what I was looking for.
Plus I liked this guy acting in Gladiator, curious to see him not being a little bitch.
Oh, so you're an edgelord faggot.
Ronin was pretty cool. The whole thing is murky.
Is Taxi Driver Jow Forums incarnate? It's depressingly similar to my life
>have group of friends but unable to connect deeply
>always feel like the odd guy out, jealous of strangers
>world weary, feel like the good times are long past
>very suspicious of blacks
>go from spurts of lethargy and indulgence to self improvement and discipline
>try my best with women, but fuck things up spectacularly
And that's without even getting to guns/self defense/ hero dreams
Do you wanna know how I know you're a high schooler?
You're God's lonely man, user.
Why are you just listing Jow Forums movies, you fucking sperg?
Dogs of War
No country for old men, in a sense. Llewelyn playing cat and also-cat with Chigurh is fun to watch, but only if you can handle a movie building suspense.
Please tell me. Because I WAS a high schooler, >20 years ago
I thought this movie was great.Basically the British Death Wish.
In the same vein Layer Cake is also a good one, has a couple operator scenes if I remember correctly
Snow, pine forest, mountains, old trucks, carhartt, wood furniture'd guns? That's my shit.
I honestly think the Bourne Legacy was underrated. I can see why people didn't how it leaned more towards science fiction, but I thought their description of the process, where they used a viral vector to introduce the genetic enhancements to their operatives, was explained extremely well for a hollywood action movie. There were a few things I didn't like; I thought the scene where Aaron Cross shoots down the drone was a bit far-fetched, and I felt like they wasted the LARX-3 operative; they built him up as this emotionless, ruthless killing machine, but we barely see anything from him in terms of his fighting skills. He dies in a damn car chase.
oh so you mean white trash
Indiana jones
The movie is literally set on a native rez, dipshit
That was pretty damn good
>"That's my shit."
You're white trash.
I think Shooters pretty good, its just laughably horrible when it comes to gun stuff, video related.

The Dogs of War
Christopher Walken is awesome in this 1981 action packed thriller. Pacing is just right for the movie too.
bet you're real effay huh user
This is the most retarded logic I've ever heard
Good man.
This is bait and you are stupid.
Fuck yea that knife scene at the end is phenomenal
Better Call Saul :-)
Are those the guys from Catfish?
The fuck are you talking about? He said he liked how well he acted the character in Gladiator, then specifically called said character a bitch. Can you not fucking read? What the fuck are you doing on a text board if you can't fucking read? Do you just like the pictures, you mental fucking pygmie?
Bought this at the PX because I figured you can't go too wrong with Michael Caine. Was pleasantly surprised.
>(2 is Better)
lol kill urself
After suggesting it I went and watched it again. So good.
>Sicario
>limited logistics
every protagonist in that movie is sponsored by the US government what the fuck makes you think they have limited logistics?
Collateral
Jack Reacher
Jack Reacher: Never Go Back
>Jack Reacher: Never Go Back
So bad it hurt. Went from Reacher being a badass detective/operator/spook to playing babysitter with an overly aggressive bitch to a teenage girl
Operators come in all shapes and sizes
The movie, not the (shit)show
youtube.com
Unless you guys are just talking about American movies.
>tfw limited reinforcements, encirclement, technological inferiority, and cutoff supply fetish
whats your strategic fetish?
>hiding behind the wheel
>one handed reload
>If not realistic, at least a decent amount of reloads
Shit, that's good stuff.
Time & Tide from Tsui Hark
that was a great movie. I love these kind of neo westerns
Oh this guy did The Man From Nowhere too.
Granted, I feel like this was wasted potential. every time the story picks up is slows down right after and gets into this dreamy, 2deep4u vibe. He didnt have to go full taxi driver, but I didnt need him to literally break into song after operating. I wanted to see the full scale of the political pedo ring
