Not trying to be creepy, while it is neat to cut off limbs or gib heads in Fallout 3/4, but I still have more shock from the scripted hand animated gore from kills in Fallout 2.
I mean, I really actually covered my mouth in surprise when I used a normal sized 12 ga shotgun to not only blow off the arm of thug in a random encounter, but also take a near extra large pizza cover sized half moon chunk near clean out of the torso disemboweling him and exposing his splintered ribs and then collapsing in a large pool of blood.
Or if a SMG burst swiss cheases your chest because the enemy had a critical sneak attack.
Also people shot with flamethrowers dancing around in flaming agony and then falling over in blacked chared.
I really lose it when seeing a burning body part that isn't melting or charcoal.

The biggest theme stereotypical "badass Shinji" tipped over on it's head, pretty much every fic about that concept just has Shinji become awesome with no penalty whatsoever, especially when dealing with others.
The canon lore states that both Shinji and Gendo hurt others as self punishment, and leave the ones they love in fear of hurting them.
Shinji is Gendo 2.0, with less finger tenting and more horrific berserk murder. EoE didn't happen, as Shinji went to Unit 01 and buttfucked the JSSDF so hard they consider using actual NUKES on NERV HQ.
The MP-Eva's show up, and Shinji rekts them as well. During the battle he rips out a dummy plug and finds... Kaworu.
TUMBLING DOWN TUMBLING DOWN Que Misato realising she totally fucked up.
All the MP-Eva's are rekt, Unit 01 got the Lance rammed through it while in orbit, shutting it down, and Shinji is missing.
Que NERV getting rounded up by a U.N. that had no fucking idea what was going on, NERV HQ's getting wiped out because they got patsied by SEELE. SEELE (whose feel is a mix of the Brotherhood of Nod and the Word of Blake) goes full damage control and releases semi true events about 2nd Impact.
The world goes fucking nuts, the U.N. is nearly gutted by war as most of the third world completely rebels and SEELE becomes "freedom fighters" and use Evangelions to counter the disparity of firepower between them and the first world. SEELE is a odd mix of ISIS teir fighters to Templars with laser rifles (5th angel crystal) and power armor clad elite.
SEELE in particular ABSOLUTELY HATES Shinji and wants him dead, and the feeling is VERY mutual. Shinji does so much shit they've actually classified him as the 19th Angel.... Lucifer. (Six gold wings, Lance of Longinus used as a pokie stick, stopped mankind from Heaven).

Also they changed ammunition types throughout as the M6 has a dozen variations with different ammunition, the original may very well be 40mm while other variants used the 30mm, Also keep in mind that bullet is both AP and HE, so that's taking up a lot of real estate in the bullet
