A challenge, like going to the range?

Attached: p30Lwood(2).jpg (3213x2504, 1.15M)

Buy a 3rd Glock 19 Gen 3 (this one will be my first rtf2) or put that $500 towards a home downpaymen?

did detonics ever make that gun in .32 ACP?

>3rd glock 19

go to sleep and pay your bills

I've been at the range 4 out of the last 7 day. Not going lie, it feels really good.

Attached: 51UO8BYwOXL._SY445_.jpg (245x445, 33K)

burt, you should build a range in your own home, so that'll be one less excuse to use.
you could say you've been at the range all week, every week.

I go every other week, but I shoot a lot when I'm there.
>feelsjohngoodman.png

his rapement takes prescience over a range

Not that I know of. As far as I know they only ever made .45s and one 9mm.

I'd rather stare at my piles of ammo and clean guns.

Also my rapement is under 3 feet tall.

Attached: rapement.jpg (2000x1333, 763K)

Whats a lot to you? I average between 3 and 4 hundred each trip.

Typically 1000 rounds, over a few centerfire calibers.

Dang, I can't wait to get a reloading set up.

Attached: 1442708904179.gif (352x282, 2.31M)

do you put tape on top of your trl-1 to help with fouling or just deal with it?

Would a makarov shoot much differently than a cz82?
I kind of want to get one before the surplus dries out but if it's not that different-feeling compared to my cz I'll put it off.

Just bought this for

$7980

How did I do?

Attached: image.jpg (3542x2158, 1.44M)

Well if you get a CZ ur gonna be memed on by fags.

Attached: image.jpg (4032x3024, 2.74M)

Is that where you keep all the money you make selling meth?

I clean it with a drop or two of Slip 2000 EWL, seems to remove most of the fouling.

Nope, I just buy in bulk, get good deals.

Attached: p30L range day 5-30.jpg (3423x3006, 2.94M)

What does /hg/ conceal carry. I'm really divided on what I should get.

$1000 max price range, but ideally I just want something that doesn't stick out and works.

I'll buy it for $9001, not even joking rn.

That color looks so good in plastic, why does it look so meh in paint?

I still want one.

No it's where I store my wifis

I already have the cz82, and had a CZ75, and I don't care about the fresh new memes.
The new CZ hating meme doesn't make a lot of sense to me. It seems like it was a sudden 180 in opinion.

It honestly looks a lot better in person, it has a sort of changing color relative to its background and doesn't look good against black. Still a favorite to shoot. I get tighter groupings at 25 standing than I do in the prone supported with a used hi point carbine at the same distance. That's probably do to a number of factors not related to how good I shoot. But I've not yet fired a gun more comfortable than the CZ-75 sp

Attached: image.jpg (4032x3024, 1.67M)

went through 100 rounds without issue today(except for friend who kept limp wristing)
why do people hate these, they're fun as fuck

Attached: DSC_1825.jpg (1920x1280, 1.59M)

I think it's one or two guys butthurt for some reason. I literally have no clue why. CZ seems like probably one of the most inoffensive pistols you can own along with the m&p. Wish they made the vz skorpion still all modernized, I can't get myself to like the carbine.

>dear cz, please make this same model in black.

Muh meme gun, muh israel, muh practicality.
I think those are the most common points.
Personally, I hate how shitty the modern models look. I'd love to have something like yours in .50AE, maybe with a .357 barrel alongside it.

can anyone recommend a handgun for someone with very little experience with them? I'm generally looking for
>something with aesthetics similar to a PPK because I'm a massive fucking faggot
>something reasonably good for plinking/practicing
>something for casual concealed carry, mainly for when I go on walks in the middle of the night on my night-shift off-days

Anyone have any suggestions? I've seen Makarovs and Bersa Thunders around but I don't really know anything about handguns so I don't know if either of those would be a good idea.

Attached: The Gun Pile v5.jpg (2076x3024, 998K)

Any of you homos ever own a Zastava m88a? Thinking of snagging one since they're inexpensive. They any good?

>thinking of snagging a homo because they're inexpensive

I would suggest /hm/ or /lgbt/ is more your style.

Bersa Thunder would actually be a good pick, relatively small, inexpensive, light recoil.
*this post not sponsored by bersa

If you drop the PPK aesthetic you could look at big boy double stack compact guns like the VP9, PPQ, P-07, APX, etc.

If you wanna go with another old timey gun, Maks are super fun. 9x18 is cheap and they're small enough you can cc them.

>pic related is mine

Dang it I've been roasted.
Now I have to leave the thread in shame.

M&P Shield and the Glock 43 are pretty much the standard for CCW.

Not good
Unless you forgot a period in between 9 and 8

From where?

go find a CZ82 or a PM series
the ergonomic improvements and slight design changes are very nice.

>was* the standard for CCW

Attached: iu[1].png (3003x1688, 1.19M)

Wtf is wrong woth that barrel?

The .44 Magnum Desert Eagles are way more fun to shoot and practical than the .50 AE, but it's like no one knows they even make them in other cartridges.

Removes the need for a bushing.

still has bushing

Good job, Colt.

Exactly. I think it’s a nene because a few soi youtubers have CZs so everyone who has a CZ must be soi now. It’s like if some faggot eats pizza, everyone who eats pizza is a fag. Fuck that I love pizza.

It's because the CZ soi meme is forced by a single person who reposts it endlessly.

t. soiboy

There he is.

Dudes,i don't even own guns. I have never even shot or touched a firearm before.
I know it's a meme but it pisses me the fuck off regardless if it is shitposting or not. I came to Jow Forums in summer 2016.
You think i know that much about guns?
I don't know what roller delayed, bolt going into battery, gas pistons,or really anything mechanical means about guns. What the fuck is a striker? Hammers are like hitting the back of bullets at the 'primer' or something to make it fire? Sear? Trigger group? Gimme a fucking break,i love guns but don't expect me to like shitty attempts at trolling with some "HURR .22 BOUNCES AROUND LE FUNNI MAYMAY TIPS FEDORA M'LADY" kinda shit.

Hey fuck you man i don't understand anything mechanical about guns. I just know the different bullets and shit like that. Sure,i know the names of a ton of different guns. I know about the attachments and shit. But when i come on Jow Forums,i feel like a little kid that is clueless sorrounded by adults who know everything. I mostly post on Jow Forums and here
I usually just play battlefield 4 on my PS3,or one of my many last gen cawadoody games
i play minecraft, fallout new vegas, skyrim and far cry 3,i dont understand a lot about guns so give me a break dude

Poorfags and Jow Forumstergeists who think they're Jewish roadblock guns.

Press your space bar after using a comma.

There's always that one dumb memeing faggot who gets really mad when a Deagle Brand Deagle isn't .50AE and gold tigerstripe.

I've recently started looking at the DE and I keep reading reliability issues (especially with the 357). Excluding that one, which is known to be more reliable? The 44 or the 50?

I thought it would be a fun range toy and I can't really justify the Mark 23 since I already own USPs.

I see a lot of people try using .38 Specials in .357 Magnum Desert Eagles and those just won't work. A lot of other people are idiots that don't know how to lubricate guns or they limp wrist. Both the .50 AE and 44 Magnum DEs are reliable as each other.

.44 Magnum is rimmed, while .50 Action Express has a rebated rim, so the .50AE probably feeds better.

That said, ammo is more expensive, and recoil is actually fairly stout in .50AE, personally I would look at .44 Magnum, then get a reloading setup to load a bunch of ammo for lower than commercial costs.
It'll still be a real pounder of a pistol, but with really easy recoil and a slightly larger magazine. In any of the calibers, the gun is amazingly precise.

The Desert Eagle will want hearty dose of fairly clean burning powder, and it'll like some heavier bullet weights, FMJ and JHP are fine (HPs with unjacketed caveties are fine, you just can't have any bare lead touching the bore, because of the gasport). So for off the shelf ammo, you can't take any cheap cast lead target ammo, you'll generally be looking at the less cheap options anyway, thus why I suggest handloading, even if just a small scale setup.

Further, you must not limpwrist the gun even slightly, and you must not grip the gun in a teacup. This chart will help.

Attached: how to deagle.png (998x1130, 314K)

.38 Special doesn't have even nearly enough energy to give the action the oomph it needs, you really want some pretty saucy .357 Magnum loads to run the action reliably.

If you want an automatic which shoots both .38 Special and .357 Magnum, you'll want a Coonan pistol, it's slimmer and probably overall more reliable. Recoil will be much stouter though, magazine capacity lower (compare to the Deagle's 9+1), and inherent precision won't be quite like the laser the Deagle is (though there's nothing wrong with the Coonan's).
After like a 500rd period of break-in with .357 Magnum, you can swap out the recoil spring with the second one that it comes with, and then the gun should be able to eat .38 Special without problems.

Attached: Coonan .357 Magnum.jpg (640x640, 68K)

that whole paragraph, and the thing that upsets you the most is the lack of proper indentation after each comma?
Welcome aboard, son! You'll fit right in just fine, here.

seig heil !

>n automatic which shoots both .38 Special and .357 Magnum
Coonan suggests NOT to use .38, and ONLY to use properly loaded .357 that meets a certain pressure threshold to ensure reliable cycling.
If I wanted a .38 1911, I would just get a .38 Auto/ .38 Super 1911 instead. You buy the .357 Coonan for the .357, desu.

>feeds and shoots rimmed, semi-rimmed, and rebated-rimmed cartridges without any special method of feeding and subsequent extraction
>the type of gas operation further limits the bullet and powder selection to types less common or economical in the aforementioned cartridges
>requires a massive chart detailing the particulars of the proper stances to ensure reliable operation
>massive and heavy compared to other pistols in its own class, with arduous and unforgiving ergonomic constraints
>Mechanically complex and expensive to own and run
how is the desert eagle not a meme gun?
fun or no fun, saying the desert eagle is anything more than a big toy for a big boy seems disingenuous at best, and downright idiotic at worst.
I'll stick with my .44 S&W Magnum revolvers, thank you very much.

is that polished nickel, or actual chrome?
that looks classy as fuck.
I want a compact commander in that finish now.

Attached: Harrison-LC22.jpg (800x1200, 231K)

it was a joke.
Nazis go and stay go.
>its okay to be white, though

Because:
>precision that few automatics could rival
>recoil is light as a breeze; the .44 Magnum has felt recoil comparable to a 1911 pistol
>no cylinder gap
>self-loading, giving you a single-action pull for every shot
>magazine loading
>chamberings like the .50 Action Express, or the (sadly discontinued) .440 CorBon, are hard to find anywhere else, pretty much only at custom shops
>looks really cool
I'm not saying "You should definitely pick a Desert Eagle over a Smith & Wesson 629, prove me wrong.", just that, while kind of an oddball and a bit clunky, it has some very genuine strengths.

Attached: deagle locking.webm (640x480, 843K)

Well worn 4 inch S&W Model 28-2 for $500 yes or no? Lots of holster wear it looks like but I want something that I don't have to be apprehensive about messing up and Model 28s were basically made for that with their less intensive bluing.

For that price, it can't hurt to buy it and have it fixed up. Replace some springs and refinish the thing.

and don't you forget it

S&W guide says 450 for good condition, 350 for fair

I wish fudds were willing to follow some sort of sane pricing but I think that if I am going to grab one it will be at more than the book price

Could be, look around and be patient. If everyone pays over book price it'll never come down.

But I want it now

>was able to save it with hoppes number 9

Should I get a p30sk for my carry or be a man and get a USP compact in 9mm?

So I just learned of the grand power k100 due to that other thread. It looks nice but some googling put the xcalibur at 800ish and the basic one around 400. Are they worth? Whats the difference? Are they slovak taurus?

split the difference and get a P2000SK

Attached: iu[1].jpg (1024x725, 525K)

>Are they slovak taurus
that would probably go to the croatian HS2000
Grand Power seems more like Bersa, desu.
>ironically GP and Bersa have the same importer

Is the KRISS Sphinx gud gun? I've never fired or even seen one. Would you buy one if you could and if not then why not?

Attached: SPHINX.jpg (600x600, 36K)

Try polishing it

with what, more hoppes? Or is there something better

Wanted to, I have huge hands and I need the pinky plates that the p30sk has, do they offer those on the p2000sk?

I carry my P30L. It's a big gat. I'm looking for a standard P30, or a P30sk right now.

Nice!

CZ50 sounds like your ticket, although .32 for carry is not good. Nice to see another /msg/ dood here.

Yes. Also yes.

Attached: stuff.jpg (3180x2766, 2.06M)

I'm looking for my first 9mm preferably DA/SA and a reasonably concealable size/weight, any suggestions?

What type of metal is it, and what type of surface finish is on it?

P30SK or P2000SK imo. USPc is mediocre AND expensive, the other two are just mediocre.

X-Calibur is a competition gun, long slide, lighter trigger, probably some greater measure of hand fitting. K100 is a production gun that still has a really great trigger. Definitely worth it at $400, the X-Calibur idk, doesn't seem worth the cost to me unless you really dig the swiss-cheese aesthetic.

GP's metalwork and finish is definitely a cut above Bersa.

It's not the same style but yes they have extendo pinky shelves.

Start with the list-by-price-brackets in the pastebin in OP and do some digging. Post again with a list of needs and wants and somebody can help you out.

Attached: beretta over 9000.jpg (1067x1600, 437K)

carbon steel frame and slide, satin black oxide finish

Is posting solvent trap(no holes mr atf man) content condoned here?

>USPc is mediocre AND expensive, the other two are just mediocre.
I sometimes wonder if you're wrong on purpose

Thinking about buying a Beretta 92, what am I in for?

One big boi

I don't get it

I am trying to do one gun a year because money reasons. Also commiefornia edition so I narrowed it down to these two a USP9 and SA Target in 9. I can buy used off roster but there isn't one that I want. Guns I own:

Dan Wesson 1911
Glock 19
Sig P226

Guns I sold because either I was stupid or I think they are garbage.

CZ75 SP01 - garbage
USP45 - I was retarded, fuck why did I get rid of this? I thought I wanted to leave 45acp but I changed my mind fuckk...
VP9 - garbage
P220 - because its not as good as the USP45
Glock 17 Gen 4 - too big otherwise good gun I am happy with my Glock 19
Hipoint 9mm - first gun couldn't wait to get rid of my shame

Can Jow Forums recommend me something old that I might like? I do like the molecularity of the P320 but at the end of the day I feel like I'll probably not swap a thing.

Attached: 1.jpg (1263x400, 209K)

>GP's metalwork and finish is definitely a cut above Bersa.
I meant GP is to Bersa as HSP is to taurus.
I'd agree that GP is a much nicer gun than the other three.

I'm looking to buy a Makarov. Does anyone have one they want to sell. I'm in Texas.

Oh one thing to add, I have the money in the gun safe. Every month's paycheck I would put $100 in there as gun budget. My budget right now is $1400. If for some reason I don't buy this year I am thinking of pic related or the TRS.
