Is the Draco a good buy for first gun?

Nah. Not really. They used to be pretty cheap, but rappers drove the price up, so meh. You won't really learn good shooting skills on a gun like that without a stock. A WASR with a full stock would be better.

No. They are range toys that are difficult to shoot accurately. They throw a massive fireball and they're not as easy to control as a full length AK.
Get a legit rifle or handgun before you buy a novelty piece.

If you're black then yes

They’re kind of a meme, but I also want one. I’d say grab a Wasr 10/63 for your first gun. It’s a regular Romanian AK. Around $600-700 usually. It’s a good gun and you can feed it steel and not feel bad like you would with an AR. A mini Draco is for when you want a fun toy, after you have a decent rifle.

If you plan to put a brace or sbr it, go ahead otherwise you could can get a wasr for the same price.

As the other anons have said get a regular WASR instead. Having a stock to help you aim the thing makes a massive difference and if you're still learning that's going to be very important.

get a Skorpion if you want a russian gangster gun that isn't as much of a meme

>because you wouldn't put a brace on it

Not amazingly.

Well, if you put a brace on it, then you have a carbine, and that's at least kind of functional.
It wouldn't be the best, but it wouldn't be cripplingly bad either.

My draco was the most solidly built of all my AKs and, contrary to what normies think, they can still be found for cheap. Just make sure it's an import.

My bud just bought a NIB draco for $450 off jewbroker literally yesterday. Don't get scammed and quite spreading memes.

>rappers drove the price up
Truly the dumbest shit I've ever heard

You can also get a Draco with a pistol brace already attached for not much more. Seems like a better deal than an AR pistol, especially if you were going for the .300 blackout meme.

Pistol + brace =/= carbine
Pistol + stock = carbine
Pistol + brace = pistol with brace
Go away ATF shill

Century just started selling AIMR builds (still gtg from what I've heard, just not Cugir made) that have a wire folder already installed, just with a tiny weld to keep it folded and therefore a "pistol"
All you have to do is take a $10 dremmel and cut the weld and you have an SBR

I don't give a fuck about what the ATF thinks, a short rifle with a stock is a carbine, the brace is demonstrably a stock and the ATF wrote themselves into a corner (which I'm fine with).

They should just reduce the price to get a rifle SBR'd down to $100 and actually fill out the paperwork on time instead of making you (((wait))) 6 months.

>rappers drove the price up

more like pistol braces drove the price up.

They should fuck off and get real jobs, and leave me and my guns alone.

Only if you put a SHM loudener on it.

they should just make it so a gun doesn't turn into a scarlet letter just because you put a triangle of plastic on the end of it.

Get the better version.

Even better

Has there even been a single crime committed with an NFA/SBR/AOW firearm?

That's what happens when your whole agency is so stubborn you double down on everything that comes across your desk because it's masked as "gun control"
And I love it, because it's rapidly turning into a free for all
>first braces
>then braces that hardly look/function as braces, and boat paddles
>ATF: alright fine you can shoulder them
>immediately, boat paddles evolve to not look like boat paddles and instead skimpy plastic stocks
>then telescopic braces/paddles
>then folding braces/paddles
>now folding stocks """fixed""" in place with a dab of JB Weld
At this rate it's only a matter of time before something gives

>overgassed
>weaker trunnions
>doesn't take AKM furniture
>is it even chrome lined to the crown?
>uncomfortable grip
Yeah totally better.
I love yugos, but come on dude.

im sure there have been but honestly i think sbr laws are mostly just to fuck over 'real' criminals during a bust. finding an SBR in a drug dealer's apartment or car pretty much means he goes straight to PMITA prison.

Dillinger used a full auto compensated 1911 in 38 super with a wood VFG. Granted this was back in the day, but I like bringing it up because it's about the most nignorant gun I've ever fucking seen.

>Is the Draco a good buy for first gun?
It's a really shitty choice.
An rpk or stockless rifle are both shit options for a first gun.

Yes, because niggers. Niggers have done literally everything known to man, and have been caught doing 75% of it.
It's only the strange shit they get away with, pic related

Are you an orc?

This. Trying to find it in my history but literally just last night I was reading a story of a nog whose car got searched by police and they found a Draco with a dong on it and charged him for an unregistered NFA item promptly, which ended up being what sent him to prison (tried appealing it to 6th circuit, got denied)

United States vs. Black
>nigger was named Black
>top fucking kek

>Overgassed
Lol what, literally the first time I've heard that
>Weaker trunions
True, I've heard this has been fixed though as that was a small batch whose heat treatment was off.
>Doesn't take AKm furniture
Neither does that polish AK or whatever it is but everyone loves it. Plus, Yugo has its own furniture lines, especially balkin war surplus.
>Not chrome lined
Just clean your weapon lol
>Uncomfortable grip
Literally your (wrong) opinion. But a another grip if you don't like it.

Doesn't matter, if you already own one it's grandfathered.

Attached: IMG_20180409_191539962-3936x2214.jpg (3936x2214, 1.58M)

Proof polish don't take akm furniture? I'm fairly certain they do.
Furthermore/regardless I didn't say that was a reason not to like it or that people don't like yugos. What I'm saying is being able to accept a huge array of furniture is a much better feature than having to stick to a certain size only fitting for your rifle variant - which you cannot deny.

But before you reply, judging by your "just clean it lol" response to a barrel NOT being chrome line, and your "just use a different grip lol" excuse, I'm gonna jump the gun and assume you're gonna say "just make them fit lol"
>this nigga thinks non CL barrels are superior
>you probably eat beans too

I may have the rifle wrong, I can't remember which it was.

>You probably eat beans too
I had beans yesterday actually. Chrome lined barrels are only an issue if you shoot corrosive ammo and then just say fuck it and don't clean it after. Who does that? Retards. The overall fit and finish of this non922r compliant pistol is superior to the Draco and all the chrome lined barrels in the world aren't gonna change that.

You could only afford the Draco I'm willing to bet. There's nothing wrong with the Draco, if I hadn't found the PAP I'd have bought one, but the pap is better. I mean that's just the way it is. The sighting system is vastly superior, the overall build quality is superior (and again, that doesn't mean there's anything wrong with the Draco a, it's the difference between 1.5mm and a 1mm reciever for example)

There's a reason your gonna be paying another 250.00 for a pap and tbe quality is gonna reflect that. Stay mad broke boi.

List needs to be bigger and why is the USP not own their?

A few.
Like only 2 crimes have ever been committed in the US with registered and papered machineguns, ever since 1934.

Whenever an NFA item turns up in crime, they're not registered.

Dillinger was before the NFA, in fact he was probably one of the contributing factors to it.

Don't forget to mention both crimes were committed by police officers murdering thier wives.

For chopping trees.

Wasn't one of them by a cop who used his privately owned MAC M10 to murder an informant who slept with his wife?

Yeah nah.

You are literally so mad lol

Oh man you sure did refute my point. Grrrrr I'm so angry.

Have a nice afternoon.

fucking this

At this point I don't know why they just wont deregulate sbrs

Wat
I'm just talking about how the ATF fucked themselves so far. What does grabdfathering have to do with it? Or am I missing somethin

>it's okay the barrel isn't chrome lined
>the factory finish is better
Oh shit, you got me
I think the crossroads here is you see CL barrels as a luxury whereas 95% of people see them as base standard whether you shoot corrosive or not
I can afford both just fine, thanks. I just wanted the draco specifically to mix and match with my other Romy's furniture
Also this wasn't me, I forgot about this thread until just now

>if you want a pistol with a brace you can buy a pistol with a brace and with minor tool usage you can permanently brake the brace off
Is this what you're saying or did I miss something?

>(((wait)))
You don't understand this meme, Mr plebbitor

You missed it.
Century is selling AIMR clones that have the stock folded and welded in place.
They are basically Dracos with a fixed trunnion and Romy push button wire folder. I believe it's a push button variant and not a lever action, at least, which is more desirable. They are not Dracos built by Cugir, but still gtg builds.
The wire folder is folded inwards and a small weld is placed to keep it folded and classified as a pistol. This weld is weak and small.
At no point did I mention a brace.

Why not just go for the full size AK? Century builds a milled work horse that hasn't let me down. Though I haven't taken it to anywhere with sand so meh

I was whiskey drunk when I said whatever it was I said. More than likely I was wrong.

Very poor bait.

So you can SBR it later?

No shit? That sounds amazing. Got a link for easy access? Kudos brother.

I'm looking for it right now and can't find it on Atlantic (where it was being sold originally), so I imagine it sold out
It was pretty big at the time so probably did very quickly, at that

Ehhh shit I was afraid of that. Ehhh well I mean that's how it goes.

>receiver and trunnion is low grade castings
>way overgassed, needs a plastic buffer in the rear of the receiver so the bolt doesn't beat the shit out of the gun
No thank you, get a WASR or a Yugo.
