i really wanted to try the MRO, just to try something different, but i played it safe/boring and for a PRO as well. it might not be as fun as a "new to me" optic but i know it isnt going to disappoint me either.

Magpul MS1 is a nice sling, the Vickers is more Gucci but the Magpul's fine. The deal is, you need to swap the ends so that your left hand can loosen/tighten that quick release. I would also ditch that adapter you currently have on the foregrip, it's just adding length and even with armor the MS1 should give you enough of that already when everything is maximum tight. Watch some of Magpul's videos, pay attention to how you see people rigging their slings. Tbqh you don't want to walk outside with that sling like that.

Whatever the formula is for the rustoleum camo line. I'm spray painting a scar17 so I'm not going to be mag dumping it.

Kek I’m in an MOS school so I don’t have an issued rifle, and even if I was at my “permanent” duty station I wouldn’t get to keep an issued rifle at the barracks.

I’m a combat MOS too, the reality is that I shoot significantly less in the .mil than I did as a civilian.

I couldn’t even imagine how much less I’d have shot had I gone Army or Navy.
