If it objectively improves the gun I'd probably consider buying a skeletonized gun, but if the improvement is only marginal at best or purely aesthetic, I'd give it a pass because honestly it doesn't look good to me.

It's a good way to reduce reciprocating slide weight, which should reduce recoil. However, unless you're going to retune the gun for new springs around the reduced slide weight, you're just creating a very large paperweight that will stop running reliably in 1K rounds or less.

Idk lots about Glawks but I do know the M16/AR15 was designed to bea closed system that didnt allow debris into the action very easily. When you skeltonize an AR you defeat the "combat" purpose of the design. On the other hand I'm sure using a skeletonized AR for plinking or competition shooting would be just fine.
