OP here, here is what i encountered

hmm I like where your thinking is going here. if Skinwalkers can transform into living creatures they have to have water in their bodies. Now microwaves could heat that up and tear them apart from the inside and also give them cancer. However without a huge power source it's not going to be effective unless you can contain the microwaves. So you would need a portable emitter of microwaves but you would need to put that and the skinwalker into a cage of some sort that traps microwaves. Kinda like an kitchen microwave. Metal does reflect microwaves and thats how the kitchen ones work so the basic idea is to fill a bunch of shotgun shells with nets and foil and then rapid fire the shit out of the skinwalker until it appears coated in metal shit. Then you could get something like a custom harpoon gun that fires out your emitter and sticks it into the skinwalker.
However this might not work if it shapeshifts so maybe a high powered hose jetting out sticky substances and then large sheets of foil. You could then try to trap it in the goo and wrap it up like a turkey and stick in your emitter.

I live literally a mile from one of the largest Adena mounds and I've never... well, I've barely ever encountered very much spooky unexplained shit.
