Planning on going camping in the Ozarks in Arkansas

My gear includes
>WW1 Mosin Nagant that been refurbished by finlan military and 460 rounds of surplus ammo
>basic cleaning kit and WD40
>camouflage clothing and lots of DEET
>Low profile Tent with an LED solar powered lamp, knife and Flintstones, bic lighters, several packages of civilian MREs so i can still shit normally and a couple gallons of clean water
>trench shovel and a toilet lid
>fishing pole and couple of lures
>jug of salt

Anyway this is my loadout i listed off and plan on staying out for two weeks in the ozark woods before heading back home. Can anyone give me any ideas and tips on this trip I'm taking? What am I in for since I'm going into the Ozark woods? Any folklore or legends or anything I should be aware of?

>going to the Ozark Woods

It was nice knowing you OP

As a native Arkansan, the only monsters you will find are the ones at Walmart after 12AM.

so what will you do if you wake up and see this fucker standing over you ?

That’s not enough drinking water unless you have another source. Maybe take less ammo and more water. If you are going to do some innawoods plinking, bring a .22. Ammo weighs comparitively nothing vs 7.62x54r

Yeah, don’t take that much 54r, bring a little .22 or shotgun for small game. Keep the mosin just in case though.

Alright gonna take six gallons instead then and probably an extra spam can for plinking.

I would highly suggest getting a satellite beacon anytime you're travelling alone in the wilderness.

You need a machete/axe no doubt, for firewood and clearing brush
