Current actions by Airbus seem to indicate a complete disregard for American National security.
How do we deal with Europeans who can't make 5th generation aircraft and seek using monopolistic tactics to eradicate companies from competition like airbus. Is war an option or should European executives expect assassination by their betters for their poor behavior.
Should Airbus and it's affiliates be tariff'd to death for attempts to sabotage the F-35
You know what would really show those Yuropeens? If we disbanded NATO and closed all our bases over there.
shit aircraft
>Option 3: You're a faggot
RIP Ramstein Air Base, RIP any powerprojection in the ME.
>RIP any powerprojection in the ME.
So? Let israel fight its own wars.
>attempting to establish independence from the global market leader
>"monopolistic tactics"
If the F-35 is so great, why would you mind America having it all to itself?
You know that Boing imports crucial parts for its civilian airplanes from Germany.
Meanwhile Airbus is pretty independent from the USA.
why run a multi million dollar smear campaign so you can pretend that in 30 years Germany will be blke to buy a gfen 6 aircraft from you when America has yet to invent the definition of the sixth generation yet?
why attempt to kill Boeing by crash selling aircraft in Canada in an attempt to start a row between the Canadian government and boeing over the superbug in an attempt to manufacture a lopsided contest that will favor your sweet talk of the low IQ liberal party inrorder to sell a system that wont exist for 20+ years to them?
What current actions?
>when America has yet to invent the definition of the sixth generation yet?
Why do America have to do it?
because when we don't it ends up as a European abortion that doesn't make sense in any strategic sense and has to get filler'd
Any example? Also, doctrines for European nations must be kinda different since they are all on the doorstep of Ivan, instead of beeing half a planet away.
>any examples
all current European manufactured military aircraft
But they make full sense from their prespective. They are all just pretty great 4th gens developed in the 80's/90's
They are unnecessary being gap fillers that exists merely to pad the pockets of European officials and act as a boost for the ego's of nations that have been second class in the post war world they refuse to fully understand. In reality they represent something that threatens the stability of their relationship with the post war world order and belie a fundamental misunderstanding of their position that is predicated on a hyper inflated self importance that originates from their 19th century colonial past which is no longer relevant.
>Current actions by Airbus seem to indicate a complete disregard for American National security.
How? Explain this statement.
They make perfect sense for them If you ask me. Early/mid 90's most European nations needed new aircraft, flighthours was running out on their airframes. You could either invest in US aircraft from the late 70's or come up with something new, and they picked the last option. Next generation US aircraft (F-22/F-35) wasnt going to show up for the next 15 - 20 years, so waiting for them wasnt an option.
I do however agree with the last part you wrote.
That would be retarded, thankfully they don't let children make the decisions
OP, why the fuck would you post something like that without elaborating what you mean by "current actions by airbus?" I also don't see what monopolistic tactics you could possibly be talking about, given that airbus is a European company. Why would they sabotage one of their own companies, and what supposed monopoly are you implying they are trying to eradicate airbus with? Your entire post seems self-contradictory.
It sounds like old fashioned capitalism to me. Why wouldn't they try to promote their products?
But we do apperently
The thing is, i can absolutely see a certain person tweet something along those lines. 4D chess and all that.
They exist.
Topkek so much this.
Other people existing is a threat to the USA.
The USA should kill everyone.
Then wonder why no one buy their stuff anymore.
He means nothing, he's retarded.
Also, pic related, given the context of this thread, is kinda funny.
Let the Chinese compete for the next, IMPRESSIVE, European fighter jet.
You know what? This would be the best thing to happen to Europe. Without US presence, the Europeans would be forced to get their shit together and increase their military spendings massively.
This
t. Euro
Tell me about it. Our military budget is much higher than when the Soviet Union existed. When there's an nation that's as strong as us, it's a threat. When there's a nation that's not as strong but catching up, it's a threat. When a nation might catch up in the next few decades, it's a threat. When it's a bunch of goat herders in a cave halfway across the world its a threat.
No they wouldn't. Contrary to popular belief, NATO does not need the US. They have zero fucking enemies to actually use it on. They want the US troops to spend money and stimulate the economy not defend Europe. Who is Europe defending against? Turkey?
