It's an interesting idea and you're not wrong for asking the question, but it just isn't practical. The job is way less about shooting and way more about interpersonal interaction and having a diverse array of skills. It isn't immediately evident, but a good soldier in a modern army is competent at a lot of seemingly unrelated tasks, to the point where career success requires being a jack of all trades to some extent.
Could something like this work if modern armies were structured differently? Maybe, but they'd have to be very different pretty much from initial entry training on up. This kind of one-trick autistic superspecialist just isn't supported with the way things are done now.
Emotional resilience is also a major concern with this.

Not every single gun had a bump-stock on it. There are pictures of the other guns which did have bump-stocks and you can very clearly see that they are bump-stocks.
