Does anyone have any experience with that 7.62 NATO blue training ammo coming out of Germany? Seems like it would be pretty good for some range/plinking time.

are those literally just blue dummies?
If you ask me I think its a communist kraut plot to disarm the American people by wasting our money on ammo that doesnt kill shit. Practice with FMJ, the best parts you can use it too.
Also what did Google mean by this?
The bullet is injection molded into the case and its weakened. So when the round is fired it breaks off like a normal round.
Lol I wouldn't want to get hit by anything traveling at 4000 ft/s...even if it is only a 10gr projectile.
Also:
>DAG ammo 17 cents per round
>Skank ass Tula: 33-34 cents per round
i paid less for the few boxes i bought awhile ago. never shot any but i do know you can make it cycle the bolt of your g3/ptr/cetme type rifle by taking the bolt rollers out.
I bought some a while back and shot it in my m14. It doesnt cycle, but it puts holes in paper in a wildly unstable way. Probably would kill a squirrel or something. I know the krauts have a modified bolt and barrel that will cycle it in a mg3.
I was planning on using it in a PTR with a training bolt.
This stuff was good like a decade ago when 1000 cost like 50 bucks.
Now it's shit except for maybe indoor shooting gallery with a nice backstop.
>hurr i am too stupid to read the ARFCOM thread on this that I saw today
That training ammo isn't the same size as .308. The special snowflake bolt and ammo was sized slightly smaller to keep military intelligence from trying to fire real .308 with the training bolt.
I've considered buying the bolt, but then you have to buy a buttload of training ammo to offset the additional cost. I ended up buying a bunch of Malaysian surplus instead since it can also work in my FAL.
>hurrrduurrrrr I go on barfcom
Have you ever ran brown/silver bear? I know Tula is pretty dangerous but I’m still curious about that cheap .308 steel case shit
You're gay.
>huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuufuuuuuuuucccccccccckkkkkkkkkkkinnnnnnnnnnddddddddddddddddduuuuuuuuuuuuuuurrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr i go to Jow Forums
Kill yourself faggot.
>Tula is pretty dangerous
Source please.
just take the rollers out of your regular bolt.
It's a new Jow Forums meme. Never believe anything you read on this site.
My g3 doesn't seem picky. Everything loads, fires, and gets totally mangled on ejection.
Go ahead and do that. Just not to my gun.

If you count seeing someone somehow turn the spent "case" completely around in the receiver when manually cycling and, not realizing what just happened, letting the bolt ride home effectively wedging the case in the chamber backwards as experience then yes, I do.
Might as well "practice" with nerf guns.
what the fuck is the point? get normal ammo unless this shit is extremely cheap.
>dog training ammo
Leave them you boomer faggot
New dragon dildo?
>mfw I was expecting dildos from the thumbnail
you've been on Jow Forums too long
I have seen this happen with simmunitions before
Fascinating. I am sure mommy was proud of you when you told her all about this.
Good thing I was gonna use it in a G3 then.
>ARFCOM
What in the ever living fuck is this?
I've used alot of it in 5.56 with hk416. Works fine with the custom bolt carrier for it. Need alot of lube though.
We use it mostly for urban live fire training because the round turn to dust if it hits concrete and give no ricochet.
Some ptr redditer owner tried them
Buying a training bolt puts you half way to just getting another hk clone in 223
>Good thing I was gonna use it in a G3 then.
The same happens on G3 (in my case AK4). And you'll need a compensator. Even then some rifles jam every shot.
Thanks for the info.
By compensator I meant robertrtg.com
I haven't heard about special bolt for them. Bolt might leave a cleaner gun
Yea I was gonna say all you need is the training bolt for the DAG ammo.
